ORANGE DREAMCICLE COOKIES
These cute little cookies are chewy, loaded with flavor, and slathered with amazing dreamsicle frosting, the perfect combination of orange and vanilla!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
- Beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Add the eggs and then beat well again. Gradually mix the flour mixture into the butter mixture until all ingredients are combined.
- Roll the cookie dough into balls, about 1 1/2" cookie dough balls and place on a large greased baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 325-degree oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are barely golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool for a couple of minutes on the baking sheet and then transfer to a wire baking rack. Let the cookie cool completely before frosting.

ORANGE CREAMSICLE® SUGAR COOKIES
These delicious cookies will remind you of an orange Creamsicle®. I created it by combining two of my favorite recipes. It is a family favorite!

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets.
- Combine sugar and butter in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until creamy. Beat in egg yolks, extracts, and food coloring. Stir in flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Add white chocolate chips.
- Form dough into balls and arrange on the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven until edges turn golden, 10 to 11 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool on the cookie sheets for 1 to 2 minutes before transferring to cooling racks.

ORANGE DREAMSICLE COOKIES

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. In a small bowl, whisk egg, food coloring, vanilla and orange extract. In large bowl, mix butter and sugar cookie mix until well blended. Then, mix in egg and food coloring mixture. Once soft dough has formed, stir in baking chips.
- On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough with 1 1/2 tablespoon-size cookie scoop or by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
- Bake 9 to 10 minutes or just until dough is set (do not overbake). Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely.

DREAMSICLE COOKIES
This is truly a different type of cookie. When mixed with a plate full of cookies at a luncheon, these disappeared first and my guests all went home with the recipe.

- Beat margarine, sugar and tang until well blended.
- Add egg and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Add dry ingredients and mix.
- Stir in vanilla chips.
- Drop by tablespoon full onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 12 to 14 minutes.

- 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. 2. Place all of the jar ingredients in a medium-sized bowl, and stir until well combined. Set aside. 3. Place the butter, egg, and vanilla extract in a large bowl, and cream with an electric mixer set on low speed or with a fork. 4. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, and mix with a spoon until well combined. 5. Drop the dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing the cookies about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading. 6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until light brown in color. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet. Then transfer to wire racks and cool completely. 7. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. CREATING THE JAR1. Wash and thoroughly dry a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.2. Layer the ingredients in the jar as shown below, pressing firmly with a flat-bottomed object, such as a tart tamper or the bottom of a narrow glass, after each addition. DREAMSICLE COOKIE MIX IN A JAR
Cookie mix in a quart jar for gift giving. Layer ingredients in a 1 quart wide mouth jar in order given. Press each layer firmly before adding next ingredient. Attach a card to jar with the recipe directions on it.

Steps:
- Mix together flour, baking soda and baking powder.
- Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl.
- Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
- Mix until completely blended, finish mixing with your hands.
- Shape into balls the size of walnuts.
- Place 2" apart on sprayed bake sheet.
- Bake at 375 for 12-14 minutes until tops are very lightly browned.
- Cool 5 minutes on bake sheet then move to rack.
