Steps:

  • Cook beef in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain.
  • Stir salsa into beef. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour beef mixture into large serving bowl.
  • Heat taco shells as directed on package. Serve taco shells with beef mixture, lettuce, tomato and cheese.

1 1/4 cups Old El Paso™ Shredded Mexican 4 Cheese Blend (5 oz)
1 1/4 cups shredded romaine lettuce
1 medium avocado, pitted, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup pico de gallo salsa
1/2 cup Old El Paso™ Mild Taco Sauce
Old El Paso™ Crema Mexicana, if desired

Steps:

  • In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
  • Stir in water and taco seasoning mix; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
  • Divide warmed beef mixture among heated taco shells. Top with cheese, lettuce, avocado, pico de gallo and taco sauce. Top with crema.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 yellow onion, diced
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
20 fajita-sized flour tortillas
18 hard taco shells
1 pound Cheddar-Jack cheese, grated
15 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 head green leaf lettuce, shredded

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  • For the beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and onions. Cook until starting to soften, then add the ground beef. Cook the meat until it's totally browned, then drain the fat. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper and crushed red pepper and stir to combine. Add 1/2 cup hot water and stir. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • For the fixins: Meanwhile, wrap the flour tortillas in foil and warm in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Right before serving, crisp the taco shells in the oven according to package instructions.
  • Serve with the grated cheese, diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce.

1 large onion, finely chopped
1 jalapeno chile, minced
Coarse salt and ground pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder

1 pound ground beef
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, with juice
8 (6-inch) corn tortillas
Optional Toppings: cilantro, iceberg lettuce, diced jalapenos, pickled jalapenos, Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and jalapeno; season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Add garlic, chili powder, and cumin to skillet; stir until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add beef; cook, breaking up meat with a spoon, until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
