Easy Corn Potato Chowder Recipes

OLD FASHIONED POTATO CORN CHOWDER

Steps:

• In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, cook the bacon and onion, until the bacon is browned and the onion is tender.
• Add the water, potatoes, and corn and cook at a simmer until the potatoes are tender (about 20 minutes).
• Stir in milk, butter, pepper, and salt.
• Bring to a gentle boil, turn off heat, and serve.

EASY CORN CHOWDER

Steps:

• Cover potatoes, celery and onion with water and bring to a boil.
• Simmer for 20 minutes or until tender.
• Without draining any water, add all remaining ingredients and simmer for another 20 minutes.

EASY POTATO AND CORN CHOWDER - CROCK POT

Steps:

• Mix all ingredients together in crock pot and cook for 6-8 hours on low.
• Serving Suggestion: Top bowls of chowder with a little extra crumbled bacon and a little shredded cheese. Yum!

EASY CORN & POTATO CHOWDER

Steps:

• Cook potatoes until tender, but not falling apart, Drain and return to 4qtpot.
• Add 2 cans of creamed corn and one entire can of whole kernel (including the water). Stir gently.
• Add 1/2 the evaporated milk. Stir again.
• Look at it, and decide if it needs more corn or milk, and add more to your liking. Once you are happy with the consistency (it should be thick), add the onion, bacon, butter & black pepper. Bring to boil and let simmer for 20 mins or so until the onions are no longer crunchy. It'll thicken some too when it cools.
