The best green smoothie recipe is a tasty tropical treat packed with iron, potassium and vitamins galore. There's no need to be scared of a spinach smoothie when it tastes like this.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup spinach
1 cup water
1/2 cup pineapple (frozen )
1/2 cup mango (frozen)
1 banana
1 serving Protein Smoothie Boost (optional)

Steps:

  • Measure: Tightly pack spinach in a measuring cup.
  • Add: Put spinach to blender with water. Blend together until all chunks are gone. (Should resemble green water when blended well).
  • Toss: Pineapple, mango and banana to blender. I like to use frozen pineapple and mangos to chill the smoothie down and save time cutting and prepping. It's a win-win!
  • Blend: It all together until smooth and creamy. Depending on your blender, this could take as little as 30 seconds or as long as 2 minutes.
  • Pour: Into a glass and serve immediately.
  • Store: In the fridge with a lid until ready to drink.

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 scoops Vital Protein Collagen Powder*
1/2 cup frozen peaches (no sugar added)
1/2 medium avocado
2 cups raw spinach

Steps:

  • Add the almond milk, seeds, and collagen powder to the blender first. On top, add the frozen peaches, avocado, and raw spinach. Blend until desired consistency. Thin with water or additional almond milk, if needed.

1 cup Cabot Lowfat Plain Greek Yogurt or Cabot Plain Greek Yogurt1 cup ice¾ cup apple cider or apple juice1 banana
peeled and broken in half3 soft dates
pitted and cut in half2 tablespoons honey3 cups clean torn kale leaves

Steps:

  • BLEND in blender, combine yogurt, ice, cider or juice, banana, dates and honey. ADD kale leaves and puree on high speed for about 45 seconds or until completely smooth. Serve immediately.

  • Place dates, banana, yogurt, cider or juice, honey and ice in a blender. Top with kale leaves, cover and puree on high until completely smooth, 45 seconds to 1 minute. Divide between two glasses and serve immediately.
