Grilled Chocolate Peanut Butter Bananas Recipes

GRILLED PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA SANDWICH

Steps:

• Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat, and coat with cooking spray. Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter onto one side of each slice of bread. Place banana slices onto the peanut buttered side of one slice, top with the other slice and press together firmly. Fry the sandwich until golden brown on each side, about 2 minutes per side.

STUFFED CHOCOLATE AND PEANUT BUTTER BAKED BANANAS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
• Lay the bananas so the ends are pointing up. Using a knife, cut a slit down the inside top so you can open it like an envelope, careful not to rip open the peel. Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter inside each banana and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Close the peel of the banana up and wrap the entire banana in aluminum foil. Place the bananas on a baking sheet and transfer to the oven to bake, about 10 minutes or until the insides of the banana are soft and warm and the chocolate is melted.

Steps:

• Start heating your skillet.
• Lay your tortilla out and spread peanut butter on half of it.
• Cover the peanut butter with sliced bananas.
• If you want a variation, add it here.
• Fold the tortilla in half and butter each side, just like a grilled cheese.
• Grill each side until golden brown in your skillet.
• Cut and enjoy.

• In a shallow bowl, whisk together egg, milk, brown sugar, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt; set aside.

• Preheat grill.
• Slice unpeeled bananas in half lengthwise. Brush cut ends with melted butter; place face down on hot grill.
• Grill 3 to 4 minutes, or until bananas have softened and grill marks appear.
• Turn bananas; spoon 1 tablespoon brown sugar on each banana half.
• Cover grill; cook until brown sugar has melted and bananas have softened.
