Ingredients

1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 1/2 tablespoons cold water
1 cup chopped fresh pineapple
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped peeled ginger
4 tuna steaks (6 oz each)
1 1/2 tablespoons wasabi powder
2 tablespoons water
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Steps:

stir together cornstarch and 1 1/2 tbsp water until smooth, set aside.
add pineapple and 2 tbsp water to blender and puree.
in a saucepan add pineapple, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, bring to a boil.
add cornstarch, stir 1 minute.
heat grill.
add salt& pepper to tuna, cook on oiled grill, turning once about 5 mins per side, or to taste spread pineapple sauce on each tuna steak and grill,covered, 1-2 mins more, serve mix wasabi powder, water and mayo together, serve alongside tuna.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
4 tuna steaks (6 ounces each)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the lemon juice, oil, garlic and thyme. Add the tuna; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for up to 30 minutes, turning occasionally., Remove tuna from bag; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drain and discard marinade. Moisten a paper towel with cooking oil; using long-handled tongs, lightly coat the grill rack. , Grill tuna, covered, over medium-hot heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until slightly pink in the center.
