COHO SALMON FILLETS

Number Of Ingredients 4

Two 6-ounce coho salmon fillets, 1 1/8- to 1 1/4-inches thick, pin bones removed
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Set a 10-inch nonstick saute pan over medium heat. Brush each fillet with the oil and sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper. Place the fillets in the pan flesh side down. Cook for 2 minutes. Turn each fillet over and continue to cook for another 2 minutes. Transfer the fillets to a plate, cover loosely with foil, and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

This is very easy and simple recipe to make. It's a combination of flavor with a little bit of kick. It's healthy and yet creative. If you are looking for the next dish to make for dinner for yourself or friends, this is the perfect dish for you.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1Lb Fresh Coho Salmon Fillet
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
2 cups of hoisin sauce
1/2 cup of pineapple juice
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp red chili pepper flakes
Broccoli
Grape tomatoes

Steps:

  • Pre-heat the oven at 400 degrees.
  • In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, pineapple juice, and pepper flakes together.
  • Pour the sauce into a ziploc bag with the fish and allow the sauce to marinate into the fish for 20-30 minutes. (The longer you wait, the more the fish observes the sauce)
  • Remove the fish from the sauce, place on a pan and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • Cut the tomatoes and broccoli, over medium high heat, cook the tomatoes and broccoli in the remaining sauce allow to simmer until the fillet is ready.
  • Remove the fillet from the oven, pour the sauce once it's ready over the fillet.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately. This dish is great with brown rice or potatoes.
