A delicious alcoholic beverage that's not too strong. A combination of Southern Comfort and citrus juices.

- In a large punch bowl, combine Southern Comfort, lemon juice, lemonade concentrate and orange juice concentrate. Stir in lemon-lime soda, and add a few drops red food coloring. Float orange and lemon slices for garnish.

- Line a baking pan with parchment, place scoops of the sherbet in the pan and freeze until firm, 30 minutes.
- Place the frozen scoops of sherbet in a large punch bowl and add the cranberry juice and ginger ale; stir gently. Serve immediately.

HOLIDAY KIR PUNCH
A wine merchant friend gave me this recipe many years ago. It makes a very pretty refreshing punch. The Creme de Cassis gives the punch a lovely pink smoke look. During the holidays, I add an ice mold with red and green candied cherries. In summer I use a mold with edible flowers.

- The wine to Creme de Cassis ratio is personal preference. I prefer a slightly sweet punch so I use a bit more, if you want a dryer punch use a bit less Creme de Cassis and a dry wine like a Chablis. Pour wine and Creme de Cassis into a punch bowl. Stir gently. Add sparkling water. Taste and adjust Creme de Cassis if necessary.
