GARLIC PORK KABOBS
Grilled pork and vegetable kabobs are basted with a savory sauce combining Swanson® Chicken Stock, garlic, ketchup, vinegar and brown sugar.

Steps:
- Stir the stock, cornstarch, brown sugar, ketchup and vinegar in a 1-quart saucepan until the mixture is smooth. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until the mixture boils and thickens. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Thread alternately the pork, mushrooms and onion onto 4 skewers.
- Lightly oil the grill rack and heat the grill to medium. Grill the kabobs for 20 minutes or until the pork is cooked through, turning and brushing often with the stock mixture. Place 1 tomato onto the end of each skewer.
- Heat the remaining stock mixture over medium heat to a boil. Serve with the kabobs and rice.

- In a resealable plastic bag or shallow glass container, combine the first 8 ingredients; add pork and toss to coat. Seal or cover and refrigerate overnight. , Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients; cover and refrigerate for several hours. Drain pork and discard marinade; thread pork on skewers, leaving a small space between pieces. , Grill, uncovered, over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink, turning frequently. Serve in pita bread with sauce.

- Remove fat from beef. Cut beef into 1-inch pieces.
- Mix remaining ingredients in medium glass or plastic bowl. Stir in beef until coated. Cover and refrigerate, stirring occasionally, at least 1 hour but no longer than 12 hours.
- Set oven control to broil. Remove beef from marinade; reserve marinade. Thread beef on each of four 10-inch metal skewers, leaving 1/2-inch space between each piece. Brush kabobs with marinade.
- Place kabobs on rack in broiler pan. Broil kabobs with tops about 3 inches from heat 6 to 8 minutes for medium-rare to medium doneness, turning and brushing with marinade after 3 minutes. Discard any remaining marinade.

GREEK-STYLE PORK KABOBS
Plan ahead the pork needs to marinade for a minimum of 8-24 hours, if you are using wooden skewers soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before threading the meat on and grilling. I like to thread on large cherry tomatoes also --- this great served with recipe #105726 :)

- In a bowl mix the first 9 ingredients until well blended.
- Add in the pork cubes and place into a large resealable bag; seal and refrigerate for 8-24 hours turning the bag occasionally to coat pork cubes evenly with the marinade.
- Remove the pork cubes from the bag and thread on skewers.
- Season the pork cubes with seasoned salt and black pepper.
- Grill over medium-high heat turning occasionally for about 5 minutes or until the pork is cooked to desired doneness.

GRILLED PORK KABOBS WITH VEGETABLES (ITALY)
Steps:
- Clean and prepare the vegetables. Deseed the bell pepper and remove the white part. Then, cut it into 1-inch squares. Peel the onions and cut them into 8 wedges each.
- Dice the pork loin into 1-inch cubes, trying to keep the size consistent for a better result.
- Assemble the skewers by alternating one piece of meat and one piece of vegetable. In the end, you should have around 8 skewers.
- Lay the skewers on a large tray and toss with coarse salt, extra virgin olive oil and black pepper. Add rosemary and sage. Cover and set aside for at least 20 minutes.
- Preheat the grill on medium-high heat.
- When the grill is nice and hot, add the skewers and cook for 15 minutes, rotating them one quarter at a time.
- While cooking, you can spread the marinade on the skewers using the rosemary sprig as a brush.

- Prepare outdoor grill for direct medium-hot grilling. For a gas grill, preheat grill on high. Adjust temperature to 400 degrees F. For a charcoal grill, build fire and let burn until coals are covered with white ash. Spread coals and let burn for 15-20 minutes.
- Whisk vinegar, 1 teaspoon salt, and hot red pepper together in large bowl. Whisk in oil. Add basil, oregano, and garlic. Add pork loin and toss to coat. Spread zucchini and bell peppers on top of pork, season with remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt, and let stand 5 minutes. Stir to coat with marinade. Do not marinate longer than 15 minutes. Skewer pork, zucchini, and bell peppers, alternating ingredients, onto 6 metal kabob skewers.
- Lightly oil cooking grate. Place kabobs on grill and cover grill. Cook, turning occasionally, for about 10-12 minutes or until pork is browned. Let stand for 3 minutes, then serve.

- Place pork cubes in zip lock bag; add salad dressing, honey, red pepper flakes peppers and onions. Seal bag; refrigerate for at least 1 hour to overnight to marinate.
