2 cups frozen strawberry
2 frozen bananas
3 scoops dairy-free vanilla ice cream
⅔ cup dairy-free milk
¼ cup ice cube

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, frozen bananas, dairy-free ice cream, dairy-free milk, and ice cubes.
  • Blend until combined.
  • Enjoy!

I am extremely lactose intolerant. It's very hard to be around all the ice cream in the summer time. I came up with this recipe to appease my ice cream cravings. This requires an ice cream maker! This makes a fluffy thick milk shake!

Yield 2 large shakes, 2 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 3

2 cups lactose-free milk (I use Lactaid whole milk)
8 ounces Cool Whip, free (half container)
2 -4 tablespoons chocolate (to taste) or 2 -4 tablespoons strawberry syrup (to taste)

Steps:

  • Blend the frozen Cool-whip FREE, lactose free milk, and syrup until the Cool-whip is incorporated. I like to use chocolate syrup.
  • Put the mixture in your ice cream maker and wait for the magic. I usually let mine churn until its thick enough to eat by spoon. Then I add my toppings. You can use fruit, candy, cookies or whatever else you like. I add Oreos.
  • The best part is this taste like a regular milk shake. I share mine with my boyfriend and he says he can't tell the difference.

I'm lactose intolerant and not too fond of soy milk or rice milk or any milk, so I came up with this milk-free milkshake:D This is a basic recipe so feel free to add things like cocoa powder or coffee or whatever

2 cups water
1 banana
2 tablespoons honey
10 almonds
ice (optional)

Steps:

  • Put banana, honey and almonds in blender.
  • Blend till banana is mushed and almonds are ground.
  • Add water (and ice).
  • Blend for about 1 minute.
  • Pour into 2 glasses.
  • Enjoy.

Here's what you need: frozen bananas, dairy-free vanilla ice cream, dairy-free milk, ice cube, strawberry, cocoa powder

2 frozen bananas
3 scoops dairy-free vanilla ice cream
⅔ cup dairy-free milk
¼ cup ice cube
1 cup strawberry
1 tablespoon cocoa powder

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine frozen bananas, dairy-free vanilla ice cream, dairy-free milk, and ice cubes.
  • Blend until combined.
  • Evenly distribute mixture into 3 cups, rough ¾ cup (200 ml) each. Set one cup to the side.
  • Add one mixture back in the blender and add strawberries. Mix until well blended and set aside.
  • Add the last mixture in the blender and add cocoa powder. Mix until well blended and set aside.
  • In a cup, pour chocolate mixture first. Using a spoon, pour the strawberry mixture onto the spoon and spread it around the glass. Using a spoon, pour the vanilla mixture on top.
  • Enjoy!
