2 cups Carbquik baking mix (-see post for alternatives)
⅔ cup Milk (-whole is preferred, see post for alternative)
1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
½ cup Cheddar Cheese (-grated or shredded, see post for alternative)
½ cup Butter (-melted, )
½ tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Parsley
1/2 tsp Salt

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 400 and prep your cookie or baking sheets with Parchment Paper .
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine together your Carbquik, milk, Old Bay seasoning, and cheese. Do not over-mix. When your dough forms, use a tablespoon to drop spoonfuls onto the prepped sheets from the first step.
  • Bake your biscuits for 10-12 minutes. Biscuits should start to brown when ready. While your biscuits are baking, combine together your melted butter, garlic powder, salt and parsley in a bowl. After removing biscuits from the oven, brush the melted butter mixture over the biscuits. Remove your biscuits from the pan and serve.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. in a large bowl, sift in 2 cups of almond flour. If you don’t have a sifter, make sure there are no large clumps of flour. Add the baking powder, salt, couple cracks of pepper, onion and garlic powder, green onions, and mix well.
  • In a small bowl whisk the eggs and add the melted oil, mix well. Pour the wet batter over the dry batter and use a spatula to mix well. Add the shredded cheese and mix until well incorporated.
  • Line a sheet tray with parchment paper and fill a ¼ cup measuring cup about ¾ full of dough. Form the dough into a ball and place on the parchment paper. Repeat with remaining dough, making sure they are not too close to each other. Bake for 20-23 minutes, or until golden brown and remove from oven. Allow to cool for 15 minutes and enjoy!
