This is the best ice cream I have ever had, practically no fat. You can substitue with strawberries, crushed oreos or crushed butter finger bars(but they add fat to the recipe)

1 (8 ounce) can fat-free condensed milk
1 cup sugar
1 pint low-fat whipping cream
1 pint fat-free half-and-half
2 cups chopped peaches
skim milk

Steps:

  • In bowl add all ingredients except fruit.
  • Mix until sugar is dissolved.
  • Put in ice cream machine, add fruit.
  • Fill with milk to fill line.
  • Process in ice cream machine.

4 medium peaches, peeled and sliced or 1 package (16 ounces) frozen unsweetened sliced peaches, thawed
1-1/4 cups sugar, divided
1-1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
2 tablespoons cold water
4 cups half-and-half cream
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Steps:

  • In a food processor, combine peaches and 3/4 cup sugar; cover and process until pureed. Set aside. In a small microwave-safe bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water; let stand for 1 minute. Microwave on high for 20 seconds; stir. Let stand until gelatin is completely dissolved., Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, heat cream to 175°; stir in remaining sugar until dissolved. Whisk a small amount of hot mixture into egg. Return all to the pan, whisking constantly. Cook and stir over low heat until mixture reaches at least 160° and coats the back of a metal spoon. Remove from the heat; stir in the peach puree, gelatin mixture and extracts until blended. Cool quickly by placing pan in a bowl of ice water; stir for 2 minutes., Press waxed paper onto surface of custard. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight., Fill cylinder of ice cream freezer two-thirds full; freeze according to manufacturer's directions. Refrigerate remaining mixture until ready to freeze. When ice cream is frozen, transfer to a freezer container; freeze for 2-4 hours before serving.

Steps:

  • In food processor/blender, puree peaches (peeling the peaches is optional).
  • Blend peach puree and all ingredients until very smooth.
  • Chill ice cream mix until cold, about 1-2 hours.
  • Pour mix into your ice cream machine and process according to manufacturer's directions.
  • It may be necessary to continue the"chill/beat" cycle for 15-30 minutes after the first cycle stops.
  • Note: Since fresh Peach Ice Cream is very soft, it maybe necessary to let it"ripen" in your ice cream maker for an additional 45 minutes (or place in a bowl in freezer) if you prefer a firmer ice cream.

1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 cups buttermilk
1 cup heavy whipping cream

Steps:

  • Place peaches in a food processor; process until smooth. Add sugars, lemon juice, vanilla and salt; process until blended., In a large bowl, mix buttermilk and cream. Stir in peach mixture. Steps:

  • Puree peaches with the sugar and half-and-half in batches in a blender or food processor.
