MA-MAW'S STRAWBERRY CAKE

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 white cake mix
1 small pkg strawberry jello
1/3 c water
1/2 c vegetable oil
4 egg whites
1 c frozen strawberries, drained
ICING
1 lb powdered sugar
juice from frozen strawberries
1/2 stick butter

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together cake mix with strawberry jello mix, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup oil and egg whites. Bake in two 9" greased/floured cake pans for 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
  • 2. Allow cake layers to cool.
  • 3. For icing combine juice from strawberries, powdered sugar and butter. Cream together until well blended and creamy - spread on layers of cake, top and sides. Ready to serve
