1 pkg (14 oz each) frozen stir-fry vegetables
1 pound medium (41/50 count) peeled and deveined shrimp, thawed if frozen
1/3 cup La Choy® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 can (11 oz each) mandarin oranges, drained

Steps:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet or wok over high heat. Add vegetables; cook and stir 4 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Remove from skillet; set aside.
  • Pour remaining 1 tablespoon oil into skillet. Add shrimp; cook and stir 2 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink. Return vegetables to skillet.
  • Whisk together teriyaki sauce and cornstarch in small bowl until smooth. Add sauce mixture to skillet; cook and stir 1 minute or until sauce thickens. Add oranges; stir gently.

2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh garlic, chopped
24 fresh jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 yellow or green bell pepper, chopped
3 cups broccoli florets
1/2 cup water
1 cup green onions, chopped

Steps:

  • Combine marmalade, soy sauce, vinegar, hot pepper sauce, and cornstarch; stir to dissolve cornstarch. Set aside. Place large skillet or wok over high heat for one minute, then add oil. Heat oil for 30 seconds, then add ginger root, garlic, and shrimp. Stir-fry for two to three minutes or until shrimp turns rosy pink. Remove shrimp from pan; set aside. Add bell peppers and broccoli to pan; cook over high heat for one minute. Add water; cover and reduce heat to medium. Cook four to five minutes or until vegetables are tender. Uncover pan and return heat to high. Add shrimp and marmalade mixture. Cook for another two minutes until sauce is thickened and shrimp are completely cooked. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper, if desired. Stir in green onions. Serve with hot cooked rice.

1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 lb shrimp, cleaned
oil (for cooking)
1/2 cup drained canned mandarin orange segments
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
boiled rice

Steps:

  • Mix sherry and cornstarch together.
  • Marinate shrimp in mixture 5 minutes.
  • Heat oil in wok or skillet, enough to cover bottom.
  • Stir-fry shrimp just until color changes.
  • Add mandarin orange segments, sugar, and salt.
  • Stir-fry until just until heated through, no more than 1 minute.
  • Serve with rice.

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 pound beef round steak, cut into thin strips
2 cups fresh or frozen snow peas
1 medium green pepper, julienned
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients; remove half and set aside. Add beef to remaining marinade; cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes. In a large skillet or wok, stir-fry vegetables in oil for 2 minutes; remove and keep warm. , Drain and discard marinade. In the same skillet, stir-fry beef until no longer pink. 1 lb raw shrimp
1 ½ tablespoons garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ginger, minced
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
⅓ cup honey
⅓ cup soy sauce
scallion, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Place shrimp in a sealable bag or medium bowl.
  • In a small bowl or measuring cup, mix marinade ingredients.
  • Pour half of the marinade on the shrimp. Save the other half for later.
  • Let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  • In a medium pan, heat oil. Add shrimp to the pan, but discard the used marinade. Cook shrimp on one side for about a minute, then flip over.
  • Pour in remaining marinade and cook until shrimp is cooked through and just firm. Remove the shrimp from the pan and let the marinade reduce.
  • Serve the shrimp with sauce and garnish with green onion.
