Ingredients

1 package (3 ounces) lime gelatin
1 package (3 ounces) lemon gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 cup 4% cottage cheese
1 cup mayonnaise

Steps:

In a bowl, dissolve both packages of gelatin in boiling water. Add marshmallows and stir until dissolved. Chill until partially set., Combine the pineapple, cottage cheese and mayonnaise; stir into gelatin. Pour into a 9-in. square dish. Chill until firm.

My step-mom first served this salad and it has become a family tradition since. I always make it for holiday dinners and one year I decided to try new things as I was a little tired and bored with the regulars. I didn't make this one year, and my grown son told me that I should not mess with tradition - this salad WAS the holidays. My kids all call this 'the green stuff'. ZWT West (Hawaiian pineapple).

1/4 lb marshmallows (16 large)
1 cup milk
1 (6 ounce) package lime Jell-O gelatin
6 ounces cream cheese
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 cup Cool Whip Lite
2/3 cup mayonnaise

Steps:

Melt the marshmallows in milk in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently.
Pour the milk and marshmallow mixture over lime jello in a large bowl. Stir until dissolved. Stir in cream cheese with beater. Add undrained pineapple. Mix well.
Cool in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
Blend mayonnaise and cool whip into the jello mixture.

This is a great recipe my mom got from my aunt. She has made it every year for Thanksgiving. It is a family tradition for us. It can be made a day or two ahead of time, if you like. It looks just beautiful in a cut crystal bowl. Thanksgiving is not the same without it for us! We just 'gobble' it up! Chopped walnuts can be substituted for chopped pecans.

1 cup boiling water
1 (6 ounce) package lime flavored Jell-O® mix
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained with juice reserved
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

In a large bowl, pour 1 cup boiling water over the gelatin mix. Stir until dissolved, then stir in 1/2 cup pineapple juice. Refrigerate until thickened but not set, about 1 hour.
Meanwhile, place crushed pineapple and remaining juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and cool to room temperature.
In a large bowl, blend softened cream cheese and lime gelatin until smooth. Mix in the cooled pineapple. In a medium bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Fold into gelatin mixture. Fold in chopped nuts. Pour into a pretty crystal bowl, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple
1 package (3 ounces) lime gelatin
3 tablespoons water
2 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped

Steps:

Drain pineapple, reserving juice; set the pineapple aside. In a saucepan, combine gelatin, water and reserved juice. Cook and stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved. Refrigerate until syrupy, about 30 minutes., In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Stir in gelatin mixture, walnuts, marshmallows and reserved pineapple. Fold in the whipped cream. , Transfer to a 1-qt. serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.

This is an old recipe of my mothers, though I am not sure where it originated. I am not a fan of lime or even marshmallows really, but this stuff is dee-lish! I always serve it with Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinner. When I cook birthday dinners for family, it is requested then as well.

Ingredients

2 (3 ounce) packages lime Jell-O gelatin
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (cut into small pieces)
50 -60 small marshmallows
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

Pour lime jello in a 9x13 pyrex dish.
Add 3 cups boiling water and stir until dissolved.
While jello is still hot, stir in marshmallows and cream cheese pieces.
CHILL FOR ONE HOUR.
Whip cream until stiff.
Drain pineapple.
Remove jello from fridge, fold in pineapple, walnuts and whipped cream until well blended.
Chill for 3-6 hours or overnight.
