- Using lemon wedges, moisten the rims of six highball glasses. Sprinkle salt and pepper on a plate; dip rims in mixture. Fill with ice; set glasses aside., In a large pitcher, combine tomato juice, beer, vodka, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce; pour into prepared glasses. Garnish with skewers of bratwurst, cheese and pickles.

TRUE WISCONSIN BLOODY MARY
This is my Wisconsin version of a classic Bloody Mary drink. On special occasions, garnish with skewered bite-size pieces of Wisconsin Cheddar, Monterey Jack, pepperoni, salami, green olives or cocktail shrimp on top. Best when consumed before noon.

- Fill a large tumbler with ice cubes. Pour in the vodka, then drop in the olives and the olive brine. Season with celery salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Fill the remainder of the glass with tomato and clam juice cocktail. Stir with the celery stalk and leave it in as a garnish. Sprinkle with a little bit of celery salt before serving.

- Divide the vodka between 2 tall, chilled glasses filled with ice. Fill the glasses with the tomato juice mixture; stir. Add smoked chubs and kosher dill spears to glasses. For each serving, thread 2 olives on a cocktail pick. Place each across the rim of each glass and serve. Makes 2 (about 10-ounce) servings.
