Ingredients

3 tablespoons ground coffee or 3 tablespoons espresso, dark roast
1/2 cup cold water
2 cups ice cubes
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1/4 cup milk

Steps:

Place paper filter in brew basket along with ground coffee / espresso. Add cold water to fill line.
Place ingredients into blender jar in this order:.
ice cubes.
sugar.
chocolate syrup.
milk.
Secure blending jar lid and rotate into locked position.
Secure blending jar onto base and lock.
Plug in appliance and push power button. When red button flashes, press the Frappe button. When automatic blending cycle is complete, the green light will turn off. If additional blending is desired, press and hold the BLEND button for the desired amount of time.

This recipe is good as is but adding more caramel and using half and half instead of milk made it even better. This recipe is from Frappes Made Easy from Mr. Coffee and came with the convenient frappe machine but can be made without.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons ground dark roast coffee (or coffee of choice) or 3 tablespoons espresso (or coffee of choice)
1/2 cup water
2 cups ice cubes (shredded ice would be even better without the machine)
1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk

Steps:

Brew coffee according to your coffee machines directions.
Blend ingredients in blender, longer as necessary for larger pieces of ice.
Blend in coffee once brewed.
Pour into glasses.
Top with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
Serve.
