Ninja Foodi Baked Potatoes are better than oven, better than microwave and done perfect every time with the Air Fryer Air Crisp lid. Perfect crispy skins and melty soft inside baked potatoes. The best thing about air fried potatoes is you can set them up and forget them, waiting for the sound of the air fryer to go off! This guide to air fry baked potatoes in the ninja foodi will get you on your way to soft tender baked potatoes and ultimate mashed potatoes with freshly made spuds. Super soft baked potatoes is all you will find here just waiting to be loaded up with cheese, sour cream, bacon and chives!

2-3 large baked potatoes
olive oil
sea salt

Steps:

  • Baked Potatoes in Ninja Foodi
  • Stab baked potatoes with fork all over potato.
  • Add olive oil to skin, making sure there is oil on all of the potato skin. The easiest way to do this is simply with your hand or with a natural basting brush.
  • Add Air Crisp black basket to inner ceramic pot.
  • Place prepped baking potatoes inside air crisp basket.
  • Season potatoes well with sea salt.
  • Close Air Crisp lid.
  • Set Air Fryer on 400 degrees on Air Crisp for 40 minutes.
  • Note that depending on the size of your potato, you may only need 35 minutes. The great thing about the Air Crisp lid is you an simply check at the 35 min mark and close back up.
  • Potatoes are done with a knife slides through easily and skins are crispy.

Roasted potatoes happen to be my favorite side dishes because they are so simple to make, but throughout the summer months, I just can't stand cooking with my traditional kitchen oven.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 lbs. Baby red potatoes, ¼ cut into
2 Tbsp. olive oil
¼ C. dried onion flakes
1 tsp. dried rosemary
½ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. celery celery
¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Put in the Crisper Basket and shut the lid. Choose AIR CRISP, set the temperature to 390°F, and set the time to 20 minutes. Select START/STOP to start Ninja Foodi preheating.
  • In the meantime, Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix until evenly coated.
  • After the Ninja unit beeps to let you know it has preheated, Place the potatoes to the Crisper Basket. Shut the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes of cooking shake the crisper basket well. Put the basket back in the Ninja unit and shut the lid to continue cooking.
  • After 10 minutes, stop and check for sought after crispness. Resume cooking up to 5 additional minutes, if needed.

ROASTED RED POTATOES IN THE NINJA FOODI GRILL

3 lb Bag or Red potatoes
Avocado oil
salt and pepper to taste
Italian seasoning to coat
1 yellow onion

Steps:

  • Rinse potatoes off first and pat dry. Quarter cut your potatoes. Slice your onions on the thicker side. Add to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle avocado oil on and mix to be sure all potatoes are coated. DO NOT use olive oil. (NOTE you may use yellow potatoes for this recipe)
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, mix. Add italian seasoning on to coat lightly, and mix well.
  • Lightly prep the inner basket of the Foodi Grill with avocoda oil. I use a paper towel. Add potatoes to the basket. Preheat Grill to 375 roast option.
  • Set temperature 375 for 20 to 23 minutes. Mid way through check on potatoes and lightly toss them to be sure all are roasting evenly. You can spritz more avocado oil on if you desire. You may add more time for desired crispness. Enjoy! Garnish with rosemary sprigs

3 Lb Beef Chuck Roast
1 Tsp Steak Seasoning
1 Package Gluten-Free or Regular Brown Gravy Mix
1/2 Cup Water
4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
Parsley or Rosemary to Garnish

Steps:

  • Begin by preheating the ninja foodi to air crisp to 390*F for 5 minutes.
  • While this is preheating, season the roast evenly with steak seasoning.
  • Combine the gravy with 1/2 cup water and set aside.
  • Once the preheating time is up, carefully spray the basket of the ninja foodi with grapeseed cooking oil spray.
  • Place the roast into the basket of the ninja foodi and cook it on air crisp at 390*F for 15 minutes, searing the outside.
  • Once the cooking time is up, prepare a sheet of foil to place the roast on.
  • Carefully remove the roast from the ninja foodi and place it on the foil.
  • Roll up the foil around the sides of the roast and place it back into the basket of the ninja foodi.
  • At this point, be sure the foil is up around the sides so the air can circulate.
  • Carefully pour the brown gravy mixture over the roast.
  • Place the butter on top of the roast.
  • Cook on air crisp for 30-40 minutes at 325*F, the internal temperature needs to reach at least 145*F.
  • Once done, let it rest for 5 minutes and then slice and serve.
  • Roast can be served with drippings as gravy.
