Plain old oil and vinegar doesn't hold a candle to this delicious, easy dressing!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup water + more if needed
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
1.5 tablespoon orange marmalade
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 clove garlic (minced)

Steps:

  • Combine all the ingredients and blend until well-mixed.
  • Thin as desired with more water.

1 big organic orange (when in season) - the zest and 1 1/2 tbsp juice
6oz tahini
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch salt
cold water

Steps:

  • Mix tahini with lemon juice, orange juice, orange zest and a pinch of salt (I used a fork).
  • Start adding cold water one tbsp at a time and mix, until you get a smooth consistency (I think I needed somewhere between 7 and 10 tbsp).
  • Add cinnamon and taste.
  • You can add more orange zest if you want a stronger orange flavor.

Easy to make, just needs a blender or a food processor. Experiment by adding a bit more lemon or a bit less garlic, or adding ground mint. Works well on anything, especially on simple salads.
