- In a small skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Meanwhile, place beef mix in a small bowl; stir in parsley and onion. Shape into a patty; coat with flour. Using a slotted spoon, remove bacon to paper towel to drain., In the drippings, brown the patty on both sides. Add gravy and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Top with bacon.

SUNNY'S EASY BACON CHEESEBURGER SALISBURY STEAKS

- For the Salisbury steaks: In a large bowl, add the chuck, breadcrumbs, mustard, ketchup, onion pulp, salt and a few hefty grinds of black pepper and gently mix to combine. Divide into fourths and make four 1/2- to 3/4-inch-thick oval burgers; set aside.
- In a large pan with straight sides on medium heat, add the bacon and cook until crisp, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the bacon fat in the pan. Cool the bacon, then chop.
- In the same pan, turn the heat to high and add the formed burgers. Sear on one side for a few minutes, then remove to a plate.
- For the sauce: In the same pan, add the beef stock and scrape up any bits. Add the heavy cream and American cheese and stir. Bring to a boil. Stir in the noodles. Nestle the burgers into the noodles and sauce, cover, lower the heat to a simmer and cook until the burgers are done and the noodles are cooked, about 10 minutes. Stir in the parsley and bacon.
- Serve family style or place a burger on a plate with noodles and serve topped with sauce.
SALISBURY STEAK AND BACON SAUCE RECIPE

- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Divide mixture into 4 patties. Pat down until 1/2 inch thick. Heat a skillet on medium heat. Add butter and olive oil. Once butter has melted add patties. Cook 3-5 minutes per side then remove from pan and set aside. Add bacon to pan and cook until fat is rendered out. Add onion and cook onions until lightly brown and beginning to turn translucent. Add beef broth, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5-10 minutes on high, or until mixture has reduced and has begun to thicken. Stir in cornstarch, mixed with a little broth and cook until desired thickness. Add patties back to sauce and heat.

This recipe has been in my family for years. It's easy to cook, but tastes like it took hours to make! I usually make enough extra sauce to pour over mashed potatoes. YUM!

- In a large bowl, mix together 1/3 cup condensed French onion soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and black pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown both sides of patties. Pour off excess fat.

- Mix ground beef and eggs together in a very large bowl.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat; stir in bell peppers and onion. Cook and stir until vegetables are tender, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add cooked vegetables, Cheddar cheese, panko, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the beef mixture; mix until well combined.
- Pinch off a piece of the meat mixture and form it into a quarter-sized patty. Fry it in the same skillet until done, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Taste and adjust seasonings to remaining mixture, if needed.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Form meat mixture into 25 equal-sized patties. Brown several patties at a time in the skillet, being careful not to burn them, 3 to 5 minutes per batch. Transfer patties to baking sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven until cooked through, 10 to 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 155 degrees F (63 degrees C).

- In a large skillet cook bacon over moderatly-high heat;cook until crisp and browned, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer bacon to paper towels and set aside; reserve drippings in the skillet.
- Core and seed the bell pepper; cut into strips, add mushrooms, onions and bell pepper to the drippings in the skillet; cook stirring frequently, until crisp tender, about 4 minutes.

- Combine all ingredients for the salisbury steak together in a large mixing bowl until seasoning is evenly incorporated. Separate into quarters, the form beef patties by hand.
