SAVORY BEEF SANDWICHES
Before heading to work in the morning, I'll get this going in the slow cooker. Then it's all ready to serve-usually with hard rolls and potato salad or another salad-as soon as my husband and I walk in. - Combine seasonings; rub over roast. Place in a 5-qt. slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender. Shred with a fork. Serve on rolls.

- Heat grill or grill pan. Combine beef, onion, mustard, Italian seasoning, cumin, pepper and salt until thoroughly mixed.
- Divide beef mixture into 4 equal portions and form patties.
- Place patties onto grill or grill pan; cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until desired degree of doneness, turning once.
- To assemble, place one patty on one half of each bun. Top each with 2 lettuce leaves, 2 tomato slices, 2 onion slices and other half of bun.

A last-minute quick meal turned into a family favorite. Best homemade skillet burgers I have ever had and they are surprisingly not too bad for you! Making them into sliders on lightly toasted sourdough is an amazing gourmet treat for guests! My boyfriend got out the ketchup, and after one bite of these burgers he put the ketchup away. These burgers are perfect as-is--you don't even need buns!

- Lightly oil a large skillet and put over low heat.
- Mix ground beef, egg whites, sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese, sea salt, steak seasoning, and parsley in a large bowl. Shape into 5 hamburger patties.
- Put patties in the skillet and cook for 5 minutes. Flip and cook another 5 minutes.
