Honey Orange Glazed Salmon image

Crispy honey Orange Glazed Salmon is an easy and flavorful salmon recipe. Salmon fillets are pan seared and coated in the most amazing honey orange garlic sauce. The perfect salmon dinner that comes together in 20 minutes.

Unsalted butter- 2 tablespoons
Salmon fillets ( skinless)-4 ( 6 ounce/ 170 g each)
Orange juice-1/3 cup
Honey- 3 tablespoons
Low-sodium soy sauce- 3 tablespoons
Garlic cloves ( minced)-1 tablespoon
Ginger (minced)-1 teaspoon
Black pepper and salt -to taste.
Orange ( sliced)-1
Scallions (chopped)- 2 tablespoons

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Sear salmon (skin-side down) for 4 minutes, then flip and sear further for 3 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Pour in the orange juice and cook further for 1 minute. Move the salmon to the sides of the pan and add soy sauce and honey. Stir to combine.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer until it becomes a sticky syrup, about 40 seconds to 1 minute. Coat the salmon in the sauce evenly. Remove from the heat. Garnish with scallions.
  • Serve immediately with steamed rice or veggies. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 pounds salmon fillet
1/3 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon ginger
2 teaspoons salt free citrus-herb seasoning

Steps:

  • Rinse salmon fillet under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Cut into 6 serving portions and place salmon fillets in a large zip-top bag; set aside.
  • In a small bowl stir together remaining ingredients. Pour into zip-top bag. Squeeze air from bag and seal. Marinate in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Remove salmon from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking, and bring to room temperature.
  • Light broiler and line baking sheet or broiler pan with aluminum foil.
  • Remove salmon from marinade and place on baking sheet. Discard marinade. Broil salmon 6 to 8 inches from heat source for 6 to 8 minutes or until cooked through. Do not overcook.
  • Serve immediately.

Six 6-ounce salmon fillets
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup white wine
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 teaspoon orange zest
3 tablespoons sherry
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
2 slices orange

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Sear the fish fillets in the sesame oil in a large, very hot skillet for 1 minute on each side. You should hear the fish sizzle. Remove fillets from the heat and transfer them to a glass baking dish or baking pan. Drizzle the soy sauce and the wine over them and bake them for 10 minutes. Remove them from the oven.
  • Meanwhile, heat the orange juice, zest, sherry and ginger together in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until reduced by half. Add the orange slices, and stir once or twice, until the sauce becomes thick. Remove from heat, drizzle the sauce over the fish, and serve.
