This easy, make at home, copycat Starbucks frappucino recipe serves as an excellent base for different flavors of Starbucks drink recipes. Budget friendly, fewer calories, same great taste. Only takes minutes too. So easy to modify based on your flavor preferences.

1-2 tablespoons instant coffee or shot of espresso
½ cup milk of choice
2 cups ice
pinch of xanthan gum acts as a thickener

Steps:

  • Add a small amount of water just enough to dissolve instant coffee. Your goal here is to create a concentrated coffee flavor. Alternatively, use a shot of espresso.
  • Add milk of choice. The more fat in the milk, the creamier your drink will be. I prefer unsweetened soymilk.
  • (optional) Throw in blender with xantham gum and other ingredients, then blend to desired consistency.
  • Pour out and enjoy!
