STRAWBERRY 'N CREAM SALAD RECIPE

Steps:

• Empty Jello into large bowl and dissolve in boiling water. Add partly thawed strawberries and bananas. Refrigerate until almost firm. Pour 1/2 of mixture into dish or casserole and spread layer of sour cream over mixture. Pour remaining Jello mixture over sour cream. Refrigerate until ready to serve. If desired, sprinkle nuts just before serving.

STRAWBERRY AND SOUR CREAM JELLO SALAD

Steps:

• 1 sm. box strawberry jello (+ 1 cup hot water ¾ cup cold water or __ berry juice) [jell] slightly.
• Add: pkg thawed strawberries (10 oz or pt size?), cup drained crushed pineapple (#2 size or any size), couple mashed up bananas, chopped walnuts (½ cup more or less).
• Mix all together with slightly conjealed jello.
• Fill Tupperware with about ⅓ or (less than ½). Refrigerate - till get hard.
• When mixture hardens - spread sour cream (about 1 pt.) on top of jello.
• Pour rest of jello on top of sour cream & refrigerate.
• Best to do night before - so sets well.
• When unmold - fill ____ with sour cream.

STRAWBERRY SOUR CREAM STREUSEL CAKE

Steps:

• Prepare strawberry purée: In a blender, combine strawberries and jam. Make a paste of cornstarch and vanilla, and add to blender. Purée until smooth.Set aside.
• Prepare cake: Heat oven to 375 degrees. Oil a 9-inch springform pan and set aside. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Sprinkle in butter cubes and rub them in by hand until mixture resembles large coarse crumbs. Remove 1/2 cup and set it aside. To large bowl, add sour cream,egg and vanilla. Mix well.
• Using a little over half the cake batter, drop dollops of batter into pan. Pat batter across bottom of pan and about 1 inch up sides; mixture will be very sticky and somewhat uneven. Add strawberry purée, making an even layer across bottom of pan and leaving a rim of dough above it. Cover with remaining cake mixture.
• Prepare crumble topping: In a medium bowl, combine reserved 1/2 cup dough and Demerara sugar. Stir with a fork to mix. Sprinkle evenly over cake.
• Bake cake until lightly golden, about 45 minutes. Cool completely before serving.

MOLDED STRAWBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. Add strawberries and pineapple. Strain, reserving liquid and fruit. Set aside 1 cup of the liquid at room temperature. , Pour fruit and remaining liquid into a 5-cup ring mold or 9-in. square pan that has been coated with cooking spray. Cover and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. , Whisk sour cream and reserved liquid; pour over top of gelatin. Cover and refrigerate until set. , Slice and place on individual plates, or unmold onto a serving platter. Garnish with lettuce and strawberries if desired.

SPECIAL STRAWBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• Dissolve unflavored gelatin in cold water. In a medium saucepan over low heat, heat cream and sugar until sugar dissolves. Stir in gelatin mixture until dissolved. Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream and vanilla. Pour into a 2-qt. glass bowl; chill until firm. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Drain orange liquid into strawberry gelatin; blend well. Gently stir in strawberries until thawed. Pour over cream layer; arrange oranges on top (allow to settle) and chill until firm.

STRAWBERRY CREAM SALAD

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• In a large bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and sugar and beat on medium speed until stiff. Fold in cracker pieces, walnuts and vanilla. Spread into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Bake in preheated of for 25 minutes, remove from oven and set aside to cool.
• In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar. Fold in whipped topping and spread atop cooled crust.
• In a medium bowl, whisk the boiling water into the gelatin to dissolve. Mix in strawberries and let stand for 15 minutes. Pour over the cream cheese layer, cover and chill until serving.

STRAWBERRY-BANANA SALAD

Steps:

• In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. Stir in strawberries, pineapple, bananas and nuts.
• Pour half of the mixture into a 13" x 9" x 2" dish. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.
• Set the remaining gelatin mixture aside.
• Combine the sour cream, sugar and vanilla; mix well. Spread over the chilled gelatin. Spoon remaining gelatin mixture over top.
• Chill overnight.

SOUR CREAM CRANBERRY JELL-O® SALAD

Steps:

• Mash jellied cranberry sauce in a 3-quart bowl. Stir gelatin mix thoroughly into cranberry sauce. Pour boiling water into mixture and stir until gelatin has dissolved completely, about 3 minutes.
• Chill in refrigerator until softly set, 2 to 3 hours. Gently fold sour cream into gelatin mixture, leaving marbled streaks of sour cream and gelatin mix. Return to refrigerator until firmly set, 4 hours to overnight. Store leftovers in refrigerator.

STRAWBERRY SOUR CREAM SALAD

Steps:

• Dissolve Jello with boiling water and strawberry juice.
• Add Strawberries and mix well.
• Add smashed Bananas and drained Pineapple.
• Pour half of the mixture into a large oblong dish (8 x 12 or 9 x 13) and set in refrigerator for about 30-60 mins (est.).
• Spread sour cream evenly over top of congealed jello.
• Add remaining jello mixture and chill until well set (several hours or set overnight for best results).

EASY STRAWBERRY JELLO SALAD

Steps:

• Make Jello as directed on the box
• Transfer to a refrigerator safe bowl or baking dish
• Add frozen bananas and strawberries and walnuts
• Refrigerate for 4-6 hours
• After the Jello has set up mix the whipped cream and sour cream together in a small bowl
• Spread generously on top of the Jello Salad
• Refrigerate until ready to serve

LAYERED STRAWBERRY JELLO SALAD WITH RIPE BANANAS RECIPE

Steps:

• Pour package of jell-o into a medium bowl.
• Pour boiling water over strawberry jello and mix until gelatin is fully dissolved.
• Add in crushed pineapple and bananas and stir well.
• Add in 12 strawberries and mix until all fruit is covered
• In a small bowl, stir sour cream until it becomes creamy and loosened up a bit.
• In a medium-sized bowl or 9x13" baking pan, pour half the gelatin mixture. To help the jello set up a bit quicker, place the pan into the freezer for 5-10 minutes or until the jello has started to set.
• Carefully ladle the sour cream over the jello and spread in an even layer.
• Carefully pour the other half of the jello mixture over the sour cream.
• Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours
• Top with a sliced strawberry.
