PHILLY CHEESE STEAK-STUFFED BELL PEPPERS
Philly cheese steak-stuffed bell peppers are a lighter option. All the flavors of the cheese steak and no bread! This easy-to-make recipe is a family favorite.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place bell peppers cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir steak until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- Add onion, mushrooms, olive oil, garlic, and steak seasoning to the skillet. Cook and stir until onions and mushrooms are nice and tender, about 5 minutes. Return the steak to the skillet and cook for 3 to 5 minutes more.
- Spoon steak mixture into the bell pepper halves until full. Top with provolone cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven until cheese on top is golden brown, about 15 minutes. Let cool.

PHILLY STEAK SANDWICH
These sandwiches are delicious. I purchase steak that has been sliced for making stir-fry, which takes a little less time, but achieves the same results.

Steps:
- Place the beef in a large bowl. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, marjoram and basil. Sprinkle over beef.
- Heat half of the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Saute beef to desired doneness, and remove from pan. Heat the remaining oil in the skillet, and saute the onion and green pepper.
- Preheat oven on broiler setting.
- Divide the meat between the bottoms of 4 rolls, layer with onion and green pepper, then top with sliced cheese. Place on cookie sheet, and broil until cheese is melted. Cover with tops of rolls, and serve.

PHILLY CHEESE STEAK STYLE STUFFED SANDWICHES

- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Slice bread in half, lengthwise. Scoop out the center of bread and set aside. Place bread on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Brown ground beef in a cast iron skillet set to medium high heat. When cooked, remove beef from pan and drain all but 2 tablespoon of fat. Add onion and cook until transcluent. Add flour to pan and whisk to incorporate. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown. Whisk in milk, scraping up bits from bottom of pan. Add in Worchestire sauce, salt, pepper and bread from inside of loaf. Mix well.
- Add ground beef to gravy mixture, stir. Cook meat mixture on low heat for 2 minutes.
- Spread butter on each side of bread and place in oven to toast for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove bread from oven and spoon beef mixture into half of bread and top with cheese. Top with second half of bread.
- Cook in oven for 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Cut into 3 inch sandwiches.
STUFFED PHILLY BEEF RING
THis recipe is for a bread ring stuffed with philly beef and cheese. Very Yummy! This great and easy to make. It is a big hit at parties or just for fun!

- Pre heat oven to 400 degrees. Heat oil in skillet over med. heat until hot.
- Add garlic, bell pepper, onion and half the oregano. Cook and stir about 3-4 minutes,, until just a little tender. Remove from heat.
- Unroll one of the pizza crust's onto a lightly floured surface and roll out to a 12x9 rectangle.
- Cover with half the cheese, half the bell pepper mixture and half the beef. Roll up.
- Repeat with other pizza crust and ingredients. Form a ring with the two rolls seam side down, seal the rolls together, brush with egg and water mixed together. Sprinkle with remaining oregano.
- Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes before slicing.

- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Chop bell pepper and onion, set aside.
- Put oil into skillet and heat, add pressed garlic, bell pepper and onion and 1/2 of the oregano leaves. Cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Remove pan from heat, unroll 1 pizza crust onto lightly floured surface, with the dough and pizza roller, roll out crusts to a 12 X 9 rectangle; cover with half of the cheese, beef and vegetable mixture to within 1/2 inch of edges of dough.
- Starting at longest side of rectangle, roll up dough, jelly roll fashion. Press seam together to seal. Repeat with remaining crust and filling ingredients. Place rolls seam down on the 15" round baking stone. Join ends of rolls together to form one large ring. Press ends together to seal. In small bowl, combine egg white and water, brush onto dough using a pastry brush. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 teaspoons oregano on top of ring.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until Golden Brown. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
