1 cup Tomato Sauce
1 cup Water
3 tablespoons White Vinegar
4 tablespoons canned Jalapeños (seeded and finely minced)
1 tablespoon Chili Powder
1 tablespoon Dried Onion Flakes
2 teaspoons Salt
2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
1 teaspoon Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Steps:

Put all ingredients into a medium pan and whisk until smooth.
Heat mixture over medium high heat until it begins to boil.
Reduce heat and continue to simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat.
When sauce is cool, pour into a sealed container and refrigerate until ready to use.

3 cups water
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
3 tablespoons white distilled vinegar
4 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

Dissolve cornstarch in water in a medium saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Turn off heat and cover until cool. Keep in a covered container in the refrigerator to store.

I was disappointed when they discontinued it, and have tried many attempts at reproducing it - and I think I've got it close, here.. I do believe this tastes as good as I remembered .. Use of Tabasco is key, so no substitutes - it just won't be the same..

3 tablespoons finely minced pickled jalapeno peppers
1 tablespoon chili powder

2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

Combine the tomato paste and water in a saucepan; whisk until smooth.
Add the remaining ingredients to the tomato mixture; bring to a boil, and stir for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and allow to cool. Store in refrigerator.
