2 (12 fluid ounce) cans tomato juice
¼ teaspoon hot sauce such as Tabasco
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dill weed
1 tablespoon seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay™
½ teaspoon celery salt
½ cup vodka
4 cornichons (small dill pickles)
2 cups ice cubes

Steps:

  • Pour the tomato juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, dill, seafood seasoning, celery salt, and vodka into a cocktail shaker over ice. Cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into ice-filled glasses, and garnish with cornichons to serve.

1 pound fresh habanero peppers
1 carrot, chopped
1 lemon or lime, juiced
1 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups tomato juice
2 ounces Bloody Mary mix
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
3 eggs
1 cup quick grits, cooked
1 1/2 ounces peppered vodka, optional
2 ribs celery, cut in half, about 4 inches long
2 cucumbers, sliced about 4 inches long

Steps:

  • For the paste: In a food processor, put the habanero peppers, carrot and lemon or lime juice and blend. While blending, slowly add the vegetable oil.
  • For the Bloody Joe: In a saucepan, bring the tomato juice and Bloody Mary mix to a slow simmer and season with salt and pepper. Add the habanero paste to taste for desired heat. Add the eggs and slowly poach until the whites are set, about 3 minutes. Add the peppered vodka, if desired, and stir. Pour the finished eggs and Bloody Joe mixture over the quick grits. Add the celery and cucumber on the side to garnish.

1 1/2 ounces vodka
3 ounces tomato juice
1 lemon, juice of
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 drops Tabasco sauce
pepper
salt
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 tablespoon prepared horseradish (optional)
green onions (optional) or pickled green bean, to garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Rub lemon or lime around rim of glass and then put the rim in margarita salt or Tony Chachers, if desired.
  • Add ice to glass.
  • Mix Vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt, Pepper, celery salt and horseradish (if using) and pour in glass.
  • Garnish with lemon or lime wedge, celery stalk, green onion or pickled green bean.
