The Rambler - A Bourbon Cocktail image

A delightful combination of blackberries, orange and bourbon.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 dashes orange bitters
.25 ounce simple syrup
3-5 blackberries
2 ounces bourbon
.50 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1.25 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice

Steps:

  • Muddle the blackberries, simple syrup and bitters in the bottom of the shaker. Add in the orange juice, lemon juice and bourbon, fill the shaker with ice. Shake and double strain into a rocks glass filled with shaved or crushed ice. Garnish with orange or a sprig of mint if in season. Cheers!
