Steps:
- Mix all of the ingredients together, either in a mug or blender. I find it easiest to add it to my little bitty Magic Bullet and give it a whir before pouring it into a mug. You can also mix it directly in a mug using an electric whisk.
- If you prefer an iced latte, simply use cold milk and water, and add a cup of ice to the drink.

A simple iced matcha latte made with almond milk, matcha green tea powder, vanilla and sweetener of choice. This cold, frothy drink is made in under 5 minutes using a blender. It's a delicious and refreshing summer drink!

This is my new love. I tried a matcha latte at Teaopia tea shop and fell in love with the detox & energy of this Japanese tea. I love that the caffeine in matcha releases slowly into the blood not like caffeine in coffee so you don't get jittery unless you drink a ton without eating anything else, then maybe. Steps:
- Blend water and almonds until very smooth.
- Strain through a fine sieve.
- Bring almond milk and spices to a boil.
- Boil for 5 minutes with the lid off, then simmer for 10 minutes covered.
- Strain into a blender (I use glass). Let the mixture cool down for a few minutes, then add the matcha powder & vanilla and blend. Add raw honey to taste. I probably use more than an 1/8 cup but do it to taste.
- Enjoy hot or cold. (I prefer it hot though).

- Over medium heat, whisk together the almond milk, sugar, matcha powder and almond extract.
- Once steaming, take the pot off the heat and add a fresh sprig of rosemary if desired.
- Let the rosemary steep for 5-7 minutes before removing from the pot.

- Froth or warm your almond milk. I love my Jura that I bought from Amazon, and I've heard good things about this less expensive Nespresso milk frother. If you don't use homemade almond milk, buy MALK or Califia almond milk. You can add the milk without frothing it, just warm it first (either in a pan on the stove or for 30 seconds in a microwave).
