Wishbone Italian Grilled Chicken Sandwiches Recipes

WISH-BONE® MARINATED CHICKEN 1-2-3

Steps:

• Pour 1/2 cup Italian Dressing over chicken in large, shallow glass baking dish or plastic bag. Cover or close bag. Marinate chicken in refrigerator, turning occasionally, 30 minutes to 3 hours. Remove chicken from marinade, discarding marinade.
• Grill or broil chicken, turning once and brushing frequently with remaining 1/4 cup dressing, until chicken is thoroughly cooked (165°F), about 12 minutes.
• Variations: Use 1 (2 to 2 1/2 lb.) T-Bone, boneless sirloin or top loin steak OR 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. chicken pieces OR 2 1/2 lbs. pork chops (about 1-in. thick)

Steps:

• Marinate chicken and eggplant/zucchini in 3/4 cup dressing up to 3 hours.
• Brush with remaining dressing and grill or broil, chicken and eggplant/zucchini until chicken is cooked through and eggplant/zucchini is tender.
• Layer chicken and remaining ingredients on bread.

GRILLED ITALIAN SANDWICHES

Steps:

• In a large skillet, saute peppers in oil just until tender. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the butter, mustard, chives, garlic and pepper flakes., Cut bread into 1/2-in. slices, leaving slices attached at the bottom. Cut loaf through the two center slices, separating loaf into two halves. Cut off and discard end slices. Place each loaf on heavy-duty foil coated with cooking spray. Spread butter mixture between every other slice. Alongside buttered slices, insert cheese, meat and peppers, using provolone cheese and salami in one loaf and cheddar cheese and roast beef in the other., Wrap each loaf tightly in foil; place on grill rack. Grill, covered, over indirect medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Using a serrated knife, separate sandwiches.
