3 EASY COOL WHIP PIE RECIPES
I was cleaning out old plastic ware, and I found a special Cool Whip mixing bowl with 3 recipes printed on the sides. It must be 20 years old. I thought I'd save the recipes even though the bowl is destined for the feeding of outdoor stray animals. I have not made all these pies, but I believe I remember making the Lemonade...

- 1. COOL 'N CREAMY CHOCOLATE PIE Place milk in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in the pudding mix for 2 minutes. Stir in Cool Whip until well mixed. Spoon into pie crust and refrigerate 4 hours.
- 2. STRAWBERRY YOGURT PIE Place yogurt in large mixing bowl. Stir in the strawberries. Fold in Cool Whip until well mixed. Spoon into pie crust and freeze 4 hours. Remove from freezer 15 minutes before slicing to serve.
- 3. LEMONADE STAND PIE Place softened vanilla ice cream in large mixing bowl. Stir in the thawed lemonade concentrate (do not dilute). Stir in Cool Whip until well mixed. Spoon into pie crust and freeze 4 hours. Remove from freezer 15 minutes before slicing to serve.
EASY COOL WHIP PIE
My siblings are older than me, so when I was young and my parents were working, they used to cook for me. My brother was and is, in my eyes, the best chef in the world, aside from my mother. My sister, however, is a little culinarily challenged and she used to make whatever was easy. This is one thing she used to make all the time that stuck to me. It reminds me of when I was little.

Steps:
- Make the gelatin as directed on the box. Once it's done, let it cool a bit, about ten minutes.
- Once it's cooled down, mix gradually with the Cool Whip. (I don't use the whole container of Cool Whip, I leave out a few tablespoons or else it will overflow and spill. Sometimes, I will mix it all and whatever cool whip is left over, I place in 1 cup plastic containers to take to work for lunch. it's yummy! just an idea).
- Pour it into the crust and place in refrigerator until set. I usually serve this with fruit to compliment the flavor of the gelatin.
