CALICO BEAN CASSEROLE
Kidney beans, baked beans and butter beans are combined with ground beef, bacon and onion and baked. It's thick, hearty, and pretty tasty too! This can also be done in a slow cooker.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, fry the ground beef, bacon and onion together until ground beef is no longer pink. Drain fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the kidney beans, baked beans with pork and butter beans. Stir in the ketchup, white vinegar, dry mustard, brown sugar and cook beef mixture. Mix thoroughly, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the bean and meat mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place kidney beans, butter beans, lima beans, and pork and beans in a 2-quart casserole dish.
- Heat a saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir bacon, onion, and garlic until bacon is browned, about 10 minutes. Pour off excess fat.
- Whisk brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, molasses, and mustard into bacon mixture; simmer until cooked through, about 20 minutes. Pour sauce over beans in the casserole dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until bubbling, 1 hour 15 minutes.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9- by 13- by 2-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
- In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef, onions and bell peppers. Add the pork and beans, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and brown sugar to the mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle the bacon over the top of the casserole. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes. Let the casserole stand for 10 minutes before serving.

- Cook and drain the pasta according to the package directions.
- Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 375 degrees and grease and 9x13 baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown and chop the ground beef with garlic powder, salt and pepper (or any seasoning of your choice).
- Add the cooked pasta, tomato soup, a half cup of water and HALF of the cheese to your skillet with the browned beef; stir and cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
- Pour the mixture into your greased dish and top with the remaining cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes (I also like to turn the broiler on for the last 2-3 minutes to brown the cheese).

- Add the ketchup, vinegar and brown sugar and simmer on low heat for 30 mins; stirring occasionally.
- Drain you beans and toss in a 9x13 inch pan or 4 quart casserole dish.
- Add the meat mixture on top of the beans and bake for 1.5 - 2 hours.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 2-quart casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place 8 bacon slice halves in the skillet and cook until crispy, turning once, about 7 minutes. Remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain. Once cool, crumble the bacon.
- Reserve 1 tablespoon bacon fat, and discard the rest. Add onion to the hot bacon fat in the skillet, and cook for 5 minutes, or until onions become soft and translucent. Add ground beef to onions, break apart ground beef and cook until beef is no longer pink, about 8 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pork and beans, tomatoes, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Add crumbled bacon and beef mixture to the large bowl. Stir to combine.
- Pour bacon, beef, and bean mixture into the prepared casserole dish. Lay remaining 4 bacon strip halves on top of the beef mixture.
- Cover the dish with tin foil, and bake for 45 minutes. After baking has finished, carefully remove foil, and set oven to broil. Cook until bacon on top is crispy, about 3 to 5 mins.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes or spoon onto burger buns and top with a slice of cheese.

- 1. Cut up bacon and brown; save drippings. Add onion and brown. Add ground beef and brown.
- 2. Mix all together and make sure the ground beef is separated and thoroughly through all the ingredients.
- 3. Add all of the other ingredients (minus the beans) and mix.

- 1. Cut bacon into bite-sized pieces and slice kielbasa sausage into 1/4 inch slices.
- 2. Brown bacon, hamburger and kielbasa together in a large skillet, drain and rinse. Return to skillet.
- 3. To the meat mixture add catsup, vinegar, and brown sugar. Stir until well combined on low heat.
- 4. Add the beans to the skillet, stir well.
- 5. Cover the pan and let simmer on low heat for an hour, stirring occasionally.
