AIR-FRIED PORK RIBS WITH GINGER GLAZE

- Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C).
- Brush ribs with 2 tablespoons oil and season with salt and pepper. Arrange 1/2 of the ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer until ribs are fork-tender and fully cooked, 15 to 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Transfer ribs to a baking pan and place in the preheated oven to keep warm while cooking the remaining ribs.
- Meanwhile, heat 2 teaspoons oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add shallot; cook and stir until tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in chili sauce, apricot preserves, soy sauce, ginger, and chipotle pepper. Heat and stir until bubbly, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Transfer ribs to a serving platter. Brush generously with glaze and garnish with chives.

Steps:
- Wash and chop pork ribs into small pieces.
- Place them into a mixing bowl.
- Add chopped garlic, BBQ sauce, honey, five spices powder, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and soy sauce into the mixing bowl.
- Toss and rub the seasonings onto the pork ribs. Marinate well. Keep in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 360°F.
- Place and arrange the pork ribs onto the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 20 minutes. Lightly coat the pork ribs with honey.
- Turn the pork ribs. Cook for another 15 minutes
- Transfer the ribs to plates and serve with your favorite side dishes
GINGER GLAZE
Brushing this over grilled ribs produces a spicy sweet glaze. It can also be brushed over roast pork or baked ham for equally nice results. Store in the refrigerator for up to three days. Rewarm it over low heat before using.

- Remove the ribs from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before frying. Pull off or cut the membrane on the back of the ribs, if you wish. Cut the ribs into several pieces so that they fit in the air fryer's basket. Pat them dry with kitchen towels, rub with oil, and season well with salt and pepper.
