Easy Air Fryer Pork Chops image

Boneless pork chops cooked to perfection in the air fryer. This recipe is super simple and you couldn't ask for a more tender and juicy chop.

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
4 (5 ounce) center-cut pork chops
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Combine Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, salt, parsley, and pepper in a flat shallow dish; mix well.
  • Coat each pork chop with olive oil. Dredge both sides of each chop in the Parmesan mixture and set on a plate.
  • Place 2 chops in the basket of the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes; flipping halfway through cook time.
  • Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining chops.

Naturally a lot here depends with exactly *how* thin your pork is. These from Kroger were probably close to a quarter inch - super thin. As such they took just four minutes. If you have thicker pieces of pork, cook longer and always use a thermometer. I like 360F as the temp to keep the cooking time quick, but not drying out the pork too much For regular pork chops check out this guide. Thin cut pork chops are a healthy protein choice that work well in a number of dishes; they also cook up exceedingly quickly and simply when using an air fryer. There's no splatter or mess either too - when comapred with pan frying.

  • Turn once half way through cooking

1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Canola oil spray

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to broil.
  • Thickly coat pork chops with Dijon mustard (you may not need all of the mustard). In a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs and seasonings. Dredge pork chops in crumbs. Arrange pork chops on a wire rack set on top of a sheet pan. Spritz bread crumb coating with a little bit of oil spray. Place under broiler and cook on both sides until coating is brown, about 5 minutes on each side.

1 tbsp dry pork rub (link for homemade rub is down below in the notes)

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees F.
  • Brush the pork chops all over with olive oil.
  • Season the top, bottom, and sides of the pork chops liberally with dry rub.
  • Place pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry pork chops for 10 minutes, flipping over halfway.
  • The pork chops are fully cooked when the internal temperature reaches 145 °F.
  • Enjoy with your favorite side dishes!
