AIR FRIED COUNTRY FRIED STEAK
Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme (optional), onion powder, baking soda and baking powder.
- whisk together.
- In another bowl add eggs, milk and hot sauce.
- Blend together.
- Take chopped steaks and dip into flour mixture then into milk and egg mixture then back into flour mixture.
- Repeat this with all of your steaks.
- Spritz each side of your steak with some non- stick spray or spray olive oil.
- Optional: lay down a sheet of air fryer perforated parchment paper to help prevent anything from going through the holes on the bottom of the air fryer basket.
- Place in the air fryer and cook at 400 F. for 7 minutes, Gently flip over steak and cook for another 6 minutes. *Note -if your cube steak is extra thin, cook for 5 minutes then flip and cook for another 5 minutes so meat does not over cook.
- For gravy: Add butter and flour to a sauce pan and begin cooking over medium heat. Melt butter and stir together with the flour. Whisk in the milk, salt, black pepper. Whisk over high heat until the mixture begins to thicken. Once thickened remove from heat and serve over chicken fried steaks.

- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 10 minutes.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a second shallow bowl, whisk the buttermilk and egg.
- Dip each piece of steak into the flour mixture
- Then dredge through the buttermilk mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Press it back into the flour mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Place the steaks in a single layer in the air fryer, spraying lightly with cooking spray. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, then flip.
- Spray the other side with cooking spray, then cook for another 8-10 minutes, until fully cooked.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan set over medium heat.
- Whisk in the flour, and cook for 2 minutes until well combined.
- Slowly whisk in the flour, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until thickened then remove from heat, stirring in hot sauce to taste, if desired.
- Serve over cooked steaks.

- Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees.
- Remove the cube steaks from the fridge and place them on a cutting board.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a second bowl, combine the egg and water and whisk.
- Take each portion of the cube steak and dip it into the flour mixture, the egg mixture, then back into the flour mixture making sure it is fully coated.
- Place each piece of chicken fried steak in the air fryer in one layer, spraying the tops with oil and cook for 12 to 15, flipping halfway through and again spraying the tops with oil to get them extra crispy.
- Meanwhile, prepare the gravy by melting the butter in a small saucepan on medium heat and slowly whisking in the flour, milk, whipping cream, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened then remove from heat. If the mixture becomes too thick whisk in more milk until desired consistency has been reached.
- Remove the chicken fried steak from the air fryer and pour the gravy over top before serving.

- Beat the eggs with the water in a shallow bowl.
- Dip the steak into the egg, and then dredge it in the breading. Repeat.
- Place the steak into an air fryer that's preheated to 375 F, and spray with cooking spray.

- Start by cracking one egg, and pour the milk into a small bowl, large enough for your steak to fit as you will be dipping it in there.
- In another bowl, mix the flour into it. I added some salt and pepper to season the flour.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Dredge your cube steak into the egg/milk mixture.
- As you lift the steak, shake it off a bit to get all of the residues off, then dip it into the flour/salt/pepper mixture.
- As you coat the steaks, place them into the air fryer basket (already sprayed)
- Spray your meat with olive oil spray. I spray the entire steak, so you don't see any flour because if you see white spots before you air fry, you will see them when you are done, which makes for meat to be tough.
- Set your temperature to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip the steaks and spray the other side with olive oil.
- Remove the steak and pour on gravy before serving.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
- In a small saucepan, add the butter, simmer on low heat until melted, then whisk in the flour, milk, salt, and black pepper. Continue to simmer until thickened.

- Season the panko with the spices.
- Dredge the steak but be sure to do it in this order: flour, egg, and then the seasoned panko.
- Pace the breaded steak into the air fryer and cook at 370F for 12 minutes.
- When that is finished, remove the steak and serve with mash potatoes and gravy.
AIR FRYER COUNTRY FRIED STEAK
This steak dinner idea takes classic Country Fried Steak and turns cook time upside down with an air fryer. This crispy, cracker-crusted beef cutlet is served with mushrooms and Swiss cheese.

- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in onions, sauté 5 minutes. Stir in mushrooms and 1/2-teaspoon salt; sauté 5 more minutes. Remove from heat.
- Season steaks with 1-teaspoon salt and 1/2-teaspoon pepper.
- Arrange three bowls: 1) flour seasoned with remaining 1/2-teaspoon salt and remaining 1/2-teaspoon pepper, 2) milk and egg, 3) cracker crumbs. Dredge beef in seasoned flour, then egg wash, finally coat with cracker crumbs. Spray each cutlet evenly with spray oil.
- Set air fryer to 400°F. Working in two batches, place two breaded cutlets in air fryer; fry 6 minutes. Flip cutlets over; top each with 1/4 of the mushroom and onion mixture, top with two slices of Swiss cheese. Air fry 6 more minutes. Repeat with remaining 2 cutlets and ingredients.
AIR FRYER COUNTRY FRIED STEAK
Steps:
- Beat Egg
- Mix together flour, corn starch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and (if you want spice) Cayenne pepper.
- Lightly salt and pepper steak on each side (APPX: 1/8 teaspoon of each per side)
- Dip Steak into Egg
- Sprinkle the flour mixture on the steak. Shake off excess flour
- Spray one side of steak with cooking spray (this helps it brown)
- Place sprayed sided of steak face down in Air Fryer. Spray top of steak with cooking spray
- Bake in Air Fryer at 400° for 8 minutes
- Flip Steak Over. Lightly spray with cooking spray
- Cook for additional 7 minutes in Air Fryer at 400° (cooking time could be less or more depending on the thickness of your steak.)
- Serve with potatoes and Gravy.. (see Our Gravy recipe) (Mashed Potatoes and Steak Fries are the best)
