AIR FRYER FRIED SHRIMP
These air-fryer shrimp are perfectly crispy and easy to make without the hassle of heating up a large pot of oil. Serve with our spicy remoulade, or substitute any of your favorite condiments for dipping.

- For the fried shrimp: Spray the basket of a 3.5-quart air fryer with cooking spray and set aside. Pat the shrimp dry between a couple paper towels, then season with a pinch of salt and a few grinds of black pepper.
- Whisk the flour with 3/4 teaspoon salt and few grinds of pepper in a shallow bowl or baking dish. Whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt in another shallow bowl. Add the panko to a third shallow bowl. Dip a shrimp in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess, then dip in the beaten eggs. Dredge in the panko, turning until evenly coated. Transfer to a large plate or a rimmed baking sheet and repeat with the remaining shrimp.
- Preheat the air fryer to 385 degrees F. Working in batches, place some of the shrimp in a single layer in the fryer basket, then spray lightly with more cooking spray. Cook until the shrimp are golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through, about 10 minutes.
- For the spicy remoulade sauce: Meanwhile, stir together the mayonnaise, pickled jalapenos, mustard, ketchup, hot sauce and scallion in a small bowl until smooth. Serve with the fried shrimp for dipping.
AIR FRYER POPCORN SHRIMP
Super light and crispy popcorn shrimp made in an air fryer. I like to leave the tails on as a handle but feel free to remove them. Serve with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges if desired.

- Place shrimp in a large bowl. Sprinkle flour over the top and toss until shrimp are evenly coated in flour. Beat egg in a separate bowl. Combine panko bread crumbs, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
- Dip each flour-coated shrimp in egg, toss in panko mixture, and place on a baking sheet. Let rest for 5 minutes while the air fryer is preheating.
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 5 minutes.
- Spray the basket of the air fryer with cooking spray. Arrange 1/2 of the shrimp in the basket. Mist the top of each shrimp with cooking spray.
- Cook for 4 minutes. Using tongs, flip each shrimp over and mist any chalky spots with cooking spray. Cook 4 minutes more. Repeat with remaining shrimp.

Steps:
- Place egg whites in a bowl and whisk until frothy.
- Place panko in a separate bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel.
- Working in batches, dip shrimp into egg white, followed by panko, coating both sides.
- Spray half the shrimp with oil spray, place in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, turning once, until crisp and golden.
- Using tongs, remove the shrimp from the basket and transfer to a plate.
- Repeat with remaining shrimp.
- Serve immediately.

CRISPY AIR-FRYER SHRIMP

- Combine flour and half of the seasonings.
- In a separate bowl, combine bread crumbs and remaining seasonings.
- Preheat air fryer 400 F for 5 minutes.
- Toss shrimp in the flour mixture.
- Remove a shrimp from the flour mixture and dip in egg and then into the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat with remaining shrimp.
- Lightly spray shrimp with cooking spray (I used olive oil).
- Add a single layer of shrimp to the air fryer basket.
- Cook 4 minutes.
- Flip shrimp over, spritz with cooking spray (I used olive oil) and cook an additional 4 minutes or just until cooked through and crispy.
- Repeat with remaining shrimp.
- Serve with cocktail sauce.
- To reheat, place on a baking sheet in a 350 F oven for up to 10 minutes or until crispy.

This is my take on a popular dish from a restaurant chain. My version is made in an air fryer instead of being deep-fried. The end result was perfectly crispy sweet and spicy shrimp.

Steps:
- Set an air fryer for 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Mix mayonnaise, chili sauce, and sriracha sauce in a bowl until smooth. Reserve some bang bang sauce in a separate bowl for dipping, if desired.
- Place flour on a plate. Place panko on a separate plate.
- Coat shrimp first with flour, followed by mayonnaise mixture, then panko. Place coated shrimp on a baking sheet.
- Place shrimp in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
- Cook for 12 minutes. Repeat with remaining shrimp.
- Serve in lettuce wraps garnished with green onions.
