How to roast cauliflower in an air fryer

1 head cauliflower
¼ cup olive oil
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ cup flaked toasted almonds, (to serve)
2 tbsp pesto, (to serve)

Steps:

  • Cut cauliflower into florets.
  • Place olive oil, turmeric, paprika and salt in a large bowl and mix.
  • Add cauliflower to the bowl and mix gently so that each floret is coated in the oil/spice mixture.
  • Place cauliflower in air fryer basket, and air fry at 360°F (180°C) for 15 minutes until tender.
  • Remove from air fryer, and serve topped with flaked almonds and pesto drizzle.

1/3 cup olive oil
3 Tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Start by cutting the cauliflower into small pieces.
  • In a small bowl whisk together olive oil, parmesan, paprika, garlic, crushed red pepper and salt and pepper.
  • Toss the cauliflower with the mixture to coat.
  • Place in air fryer basket at 390 degrees for 13-15 minutes or until crispy.

1 medium head cauliflower (1 1/2 pounds, about 6 cups raw)
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil (or use olive oil spray)
2 cloves garlic, pressed or smashed and minced
1/2 teaspoon Italian herb blend
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (or to taste)
Optional: 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Optional Garnish: 2 teaspoons chopped parsley

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients. Preheat the air fryer to 400 F.
  • Cut the cauliflower into equal-sized florets. Wash under cold running water and let it dry thoroughly. Transfer to a large bowl.
  • Add the olive oil, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper to the cauliflower. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Place the seasoned cauliflower in the air fryer basket.
  • Set the fryer to cook for 10 minutes. Shake the basket every 2 to 3 minutes so the florets cook evenly. Check for tenderness with a fork-larger pieces may take a little longer. If desired, add 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese to the cauliflower and continue cooking for 1 or 2 additional minutes. Taste and adjust the seasonings with more salt and pepper, if necessary.
  • Transfer the cooked cauliflower to a serving bowl, then garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan cheese, if desired.

4 cups cauliflower florets

Steps:

  • Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Cut garlic in half and smash with the blade of a knife. Place in a bowl with oil, salt, and paprika. Add cauliflower and turn to coat.
