ALFALFA COOLER
I imagine everyone is going to think "WHAT?? Alfalfa??-- I've heard those prejudgments before, but to me and many other Mexicans it's one of the most refreshing and tasty "aguas frescas" to drink during a hot summer. MOOOcho bueno.

Steps:
- If you need to disinfect the alfalfa, soak it in water to cover with 5 iodine drops for 10 minute.
- Rinse well.
- Tear the thinner stems with leaves from the thicker stems.
- Discard the thicker ones.
- In blender, liquefy alfalfa with some of the indicated water from ingredients list.
- Sweeten the remaining water and add juice of the two key limes.
- Pour this into the alfalfa mixture, stir well and strain.
- Chill in refrigerator.

CALMING COOLER
Steps:
- In a pot over medium-high heat, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Place the cranberries and tea bags into a heat-proof glass pitcher or bowl. Pour in the hot water and let steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags, and then let cool in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
- Fill 4 wine glasses half way with ice. Divide the sliced apples among the glasses. Pour the tea and cranberries into each glass. Top each with 1/2 cup white wine, if desired.
COFFEE COOLER
A low calorie milkshake that can be modified to produce a variety of flavors, and is a great use for leftover coffee. Use different flavors of hot cocoa mix to make different flavored milkshakes.
