This tea is very refreshing on hot summer days. You can adjust it by decreasing the sugar, or increasing the almond.

- In a saucepan, brew tea bags in hot water for 15 minutes. While waiting for tea to brew, squeeze the lemon slices as you put them into a large pitcher. Pour in sugar.
- Pour brewed tea into the pitcher with the sugar and lemons. You can let this sit in refrigerator for up to 1 day, or use it right away. When ready to serve, stir in almond extract, vanilla extract and lemon lime soda.

ALMOND ICED TEA

Steps:
- Place the tea bags and 2 cups of water in a glass microwaveable measuring cup or bowl; microwave until boiling. {Or, pour boiling water over the 4 tea bags.} Let cool to lukewarm. Squeeze out the tea bags into the tea liquid.
- Place granulated sugar in a 2-quart pitcher. Add about 1/2 c. boiling or very hot tap water; stir until sugar is dissolved. Add tea to the pitcher. Fill the remainder of the pitcher with cold water {to equal 2 quarts total}.
- Stir in almond extract, vanilla extract, and lemon juice {if using}.
- Refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice with a lemon wedge.
- Decaffeinated tea bags can be used just fine.
- Without the fresh lemon juice, you get a sweeter tea with more-pronounced almond flavor. The lemon tones the almond flavor down just a touch. I like it both ways ... depending on my mood. Try it each way to see which you like best!

- In a 1 gallon container, mix together the instant tea powder and sugar. Pour in the boiling water and lemonade concentrate, and mix well. Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts. Fill container the rest of the way with cold water. Stir and serve over ice, or refrigerate until ready to serve.

- Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Remove from heat add tea bags.
- Steep for 10 minutes.
- Put lemon slices into a large pitcher, giving them each a squeeze as you go.
- Add sugar into pitcher.
- Mix in tea.
- Add flavorings and pop right before serving.

- In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil.
- Add the tea bags; cover and remove pan from the heat source.
- Steep for 10 minutes.
- Take out tea bags and don't squeeze them.
- Pour the tea into a 2-quart pitcher.
- Add in the sugar; stir until dissolved.
- Add in the vanilla, almond extract, and lemon juice; stir to mix.
- Add the remaining 6 cups of water and stir.
- Let tea cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator.
- Serve in glasses over ice.
VANILLA ALMOND ICED TEA
Vanilla Almond Tea is the zhuzhed up version of an Arnold Palmer. Subtle hints of vanilla and almond are mixed with tea and lemonade.

Steps:
- Begin by boiling 8 cups of water in a pot or kettle.
- When the water is boiling, turn off the heat, and hang the tea bags inside. Allow to steep for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the tea bags, and stir in the sugar until it dissolves.
- Pour the sweet tea into a drink container, and add in 8 cups of cold water.
- Plop the frozen lemonade into the drink container and stir until dissolved.
- Drizzle in the almond and vanilla extracts, and stir well.
- Allow to chill in the refrigerator for a few hours, until it's super chilled.
- Serve over ice, garnished with a lemon and/or orange slice.
PLANTATION ICED TEA
Steps:
- Cold-brew the tea by putting 4 heaping teaspoons of black tea leaves (or 4 tea bags) in a jar and adding 1 quart cold water. Cover the jar and leave the fridge to cold-brew for 8-12 hours.
- Once the tea is done brewing, strain out and discard the tea leaves (or remove the tea bags). You now have 1 quart of cold-brew black tea.
- In a pitcher, mix together 6 ounces pineapple juice and 2 ounces simple syrup.
- Add the 1 quart of cold-brew black tea to the pitcher and stir till combined.
- Fill glasses ice with, pour in the Plantation Iced Tea and serve!
