5 lbs potatoes, peeled, boiled
1 dozen egg, hard boiled, sliced
1 tablespoon lawry's garlic salt, to taste
8 ounces green olives, chopped in half
2 -3 cups mayonnaise, Kraft Real (to taste)

Steps:

  • Boil eggs put eggs in cold water and bring to a boil- once the pot comes to a good boil, turn off heat and leave the pot on the burner - put a lid on pot after you turn off fire. Let the pot sit on the burner for 20 minutes and then the eggs should be done.
  • Cut cooled potatoes in a big bowl, add the chopped hard boiled eggs, your cut up olives, garlic salt to taste and 2-3 cups of Kraft real mayonnaise, Mix well.
  • Serve immediately or cover and keep in refrigerator until ready.

TASTES OF MY CHILDHOOD! Almost ever family get-to-gether, my grandma Anita would make this yummy crab salad. Its so simple, yet tastes sooooo great! for years I pondered about her recipe, until i finally just asked her... and I was so darn SURPRISED by her answer... just a few simple, almost ALWAYS on hand ingredients, an dI WAS THERE! and now, I;m sharing it with you! ENJOY!

1 lb lump crabmeat or 1 lb imitation crabmeat, shredded
1 can whole olive, sliced
2 celery ribs, diced
3 green onions, sliced thin
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • Combine Mayonaise and lemon juice, set aside.
  • Toss remaining ingredients well.
  • Add mayonaise mixture and mix well.
  • let sit half an hour so flavors meld.

  • Whisk all ingredients together (garlic should be in a few chunky pieces).
  • Let sit over night in a covered container in the refrigerator to get full flavor.

1 (16 ounce) bag Baby Spinach or 1 (16 ounce) bag iceberg lettuce
1 purple onion, thinly sliced
1 (8 ounce) can black olives, pitted
1 (4 ounce) package pine nuts
1 (8 ounce) feta cheese, crumbled
1 (8 ounce) bag bow tie pasta, cooked and tossed in salad dressing
1/4 cup craisins
2 lbs salmon (basa or talipia) (optional)
1 (8 ounce) bottle paul newman parmesan salad dressing (or olive oil and balsamic vinegar or olive oil and lemon)

Steps:

  • Fish:.
  • Bake ahead with cajun seasoning (or old bay, etc.). Something with a little bite works well in this salad.
  • Bowtie Pasta:.
  • Cook per package instructions and toss with some dressing to coat.
  • Salad:.
  • Tear or cut the lettuce into bite size pieces.
  • Add onion, black olives, feta cheese, pine nuts, craisons and bowtie pasta.
  • Add dressing to coat - fresh washed hands works best.
  • Put into individual bowls.
  • Add broken pieces of fish on top.
  • Serve.
  • Enjoy!
  • Ingredients can be prepped ahead, however put it together when ready to serve.
