2 lbs. (1 kg) chicken thighs
1 tablespoon bottled dry rub
4 tablespoons bottled barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon Wright's Hickory Liquid Smoke

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Rinse and pat dry the chicken thighs with paper towels. Transfer them all to a big bowl. Add the dry rub and make sure both sides of the chicken thighs are nicely coated with the dry rub.
  • Add the barbecue sauce, honey and liquid smoke to the chicken. Stir to combine well. Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven, save the dripping and serve immediately.

This sweet, sticky, juicy oven-baked BBQ chicken is the perfect easy weeknight recipe. Chicken drumsticks and thighs are surrounded by a simple 4-ingredient homemade BBQ sauce and baked to heavenly perfection.

3 1/4 lbs bone-in chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs)
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup honey (or brown sugar)
6 large cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 cup soy sauce

Steps:

  • Remove chicken from fridge and let stand at room temperature while you mix the sauce. Preheat oven to 425ºF.
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Measure all remaining ingredients directly onto baking sheet and stir to combine. Add chicken and turn to coat evenly, rubbing some sauce under the skin.
  • Bake in centre of oven for about 45 minutes, covering with foil about halfway through, until centre reaches 165ºF.

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a bowl, combine flour, chili powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Coat the wings in the flour evenly, shaking off any excess.
  • Place the floured wings on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and spread them out in a single layer.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until skin is crispy and golden brown.
  • Preheat oven to 500°F (250°C).

½ cup prepared barbecue sauce
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup red wine
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon dry mustard powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup water

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Whisk together the barbecue sauce, soy sauce, red wine, maple syrup, chili powder, dry mustard powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin in a bowl until thoroughly combined.
  • Place the chicken breasts into a 9x13-inch baking dish, and pour the sauce over the chicken. Turn the chicken pieces over in the sauce to coat both sides.

6 chicken leg quarters
RUB:
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
SAUCE:
2 tablespoons butter
2/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup honey
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
2 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
Dash cayenne pepper, optional

Steps:

  • Pat chicken dry. Combine rub ingredients. Rub over chicken pieces; refrigerate, covered, in a shallow dish 2 hours., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sauce ingredients, adding cayenne if desired. 1 (455 ml) bottle kraft original barbecue sauce
1 (19 ounce) can pineapple chunks
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • Preheat oven at 350.
  • Mix barbecue sauce, pineapple pieces, pineapple juice, ground ginger, honey and cornstarch in a bowl.
