EASY BAKED SALMON WITH HONEY AND GARLIC
This Baked Salmon boasts irresistible honey and garlic flavors with only 4 ingredients and no marinating required! You can make this baked salmon recipe for a healthy and delicious weeknight dinner or a fancier meal when entertaining. It could be the most flavorful baked salmon you'll ever make!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F and set a rack in the middle of the oven.
- Line a baking sheet or baking dish with parchment paper. Optional: spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce and minced garlic.
- Place the salmon skin-side down on the parchment.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture evenly over the salmon. (Optional: place another piece of parchment on top and tuck the edges underneath the salmon.)
- Bake for 15-25 minutes depending on the salmon thickness (see note), spooning with pan juices halfway through. Serve and enjoy!

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with a nonstick silicone liner, and lay the salmon, skin side down, on top. Set aside.
- Combine the mayonnaise, mustard, honey and chives in a medium bowl and stir to thoroughly combine. Reserve half of the sauce. Spoon the remaining sauce over the fish, spreading it evenly all over the top and sides of each fillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Roast just until the fish is opaque in the center, 7 minutes. Increase the oven to broil. Broil the fish for 6 to 7 minutes, but keep your eye on it to avoid overcooking. Garnish with chives and serve with the reserved sauce.

- Preheat the oven to 375˚. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly coat with cooking spray. Lay the salmon skin-side down on top. Set aside.
- Combine the mayonnaise, mustard, honey, chives and a pinch each of salt and white pepper in a medium bowl and stir to thoroughly combine. Remove half of the sauce to a separate bowl and set aside for serving. Season the salmon with salt and white pepper and spoon the remaining sauce over the fish, spreading it evenly all over the top and sides of each fillet.
- Roast just until the fish is opaque in the center, about 7 minutes. Switch to the broiler setting. Broil the fish until browning in spots, 6 to 8 minutes. (Keep your eye on it to avoid burning.) Garnish with chives and serve with the reserved sauce.
HONEY-GLAZED BAKED SALMON
I got this recipe from a friend and, as a new cook, it is easy to make and delicious to boot! Even when I make this recipe with fewer pieces of salmon (2 small salmon filets), I still make the same amount of honey glaze, because it is so delicious and I prefer having more sauce rather than not enough.

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Mix honey, green onions, soy sauce, sesame seeds, garlic, onion, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl until blended.
- Place salmon in single layer in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spoon honey mixture evenly on top of salmon; the mixture will run off, but try to coat the fish with a thin layer all over.
- Roast salmon in the preheated oven, basting salmon with the sauce at least once, until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 20 minutes.

I am sick *cough* so I am putting honey on everything. Don't judge me. I dredged salmon in honey and then freshly ground raw almonds, and then I pan fried in vegan butter. Again, don't judge me. It was lightly sweet, crunchy and made me feel better about feeling so miserable *hacking cough* I then went on the web and found this recipe at http://nordicfoodliving.com/baked-salmon-with-honey-and-almonds/. You can do it their way or use the ground raw almonds like I did. I also did not use salt. Judge me now.

- Place the salmon in an oven proof dish, skin side down.
- Coarsely chop the almonds (I ground raw, unsalted almonds into coarse meal).
- Using a spoon, spread honey on the fillet.
- Season with salt (optional) and then sprinkle chopped almonds on top.
- Bake the salmon fillet for about 15 to 20 minutes at 200 C (400 F). The salmon is finished when its meat is light pink, and the meat flakes apart. Warning: pan frying sucks. Do not use tongs. Repeat: do not use tongs!
- Serving suggestion: Serve with fava beans and a nice chianti. Alternatively, a salad and fresh bread.

- Pre heat oven to bake at 180 degrees Celsius.
- With the skin side down in a large roasting dish, lie the fish on a large piece of tin foil
- Massage the honey into the flesh of the fish and season evenly with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle over the soy sauce and olive oil.
- Tear the mint leaves and sprinkle all over.
- Create a parcel with the foil, so all of fish is covered.
- Bake for 20 minutes. The salmon should be pale pink and only just cooked inside.
- Serve on a platter with fresh fennel sprigs.
