Barbecue pork chops, a grilling staple for all outdoor chefs, is delicious recipe when cooked properly.

6 pork chops (1/2 to 3/4 inch thick)
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup BBQ sauce, you favorite recipe or brand

Steps:

  • Prepare the grill for high direct heat, preheating until it is ready. Oil the grates.
  • Trim off excess fat and salt and pepper both sides of the pork chops.
  • Add to grill over direct high heat with lid closed. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Turn pork chops over and continue grilling, lid closed, for another 1 minute.
  • Reduce grill to medium low with a gas grill or move chops to a cooler portion of the charcoal grill.
  • Brush a liberal amount of barbecue sauce on the chop and flip. Brush barbecue sauce on the upward side as well, so that all sides have been sauced.
  • Cook for another 1 minute or until the internal temperature of the chop is 145° F.
  • Remove from grill and let rest for about 5 minutes.

2 tablespoons white wine vinegar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 440 degrees F (227 degrees C).
  • Whisk onion, ketchup, vinegar, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and cayenne pepper together in a bowl until barbeque sauce is smooth.
  • Place pork chops on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Top each pork chop with 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until pork chops are cooked through, about 30 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

2 cups soy sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon dark molasses
6 pork chops (1 to 1-1/2 inches thick)
SAUCE:
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, combine the soy sauce, water, brown sugar and molasses; bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Pour into a shallow glass container or large resealable plastic bag; add pork chops and turn to coat. Cover or seal and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Drain, discarding marinade; place chops in a shallow ungreased baking pan. Cover and bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring until smooth. Brush over both sides of the chops. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes longer or until pork is no longer pink and glaze is lightly browned.

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Eight 1/2-inch bone-in pork chops (about 3 ounces each)

Steps:

  • Begin by making the marinade. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, oil, vinegar, cumin and red pepper flakes. Easy, right?
  • Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper and place in a re-sealable plastic bag with the marinade. Let rest on the counter for 1 hour. That's easy.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Remove the pork chops from the bag and lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place on the grill and cook until the pork chop releases from the grill, about 4 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side for another 3 minutes. salt and pepper
For the classic barbecue sauce:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 lemon
1/2 cup/100 g brown sugar
1/4 cup/60 ml vinegar
1/2 cup/125 ml tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon chili powder, or to taste

Steps:

  • Make the barbecue sause:
  • heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft and lightly browned, 4-5 minutes. Grate the zest from the lemon and squeeze the juice. Add the lemon zest, half the lemon juice, the sugar, vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and chili powder to the onion and simmer gently, 5 minutes. Taste, adjust the seasoning and let cool.
