BARS TO THE STARS
This recipe came from a calendar-like cookbook, from Wisconsin Electric. The cook who submitted the recipe said it belonged to her Aunt who was a caterer. One of her clients was Capt. Kangaroo! Note: cook time includes chill time.

Steps:
- Melt butterscotch chips and peanut butter together.
- Stir in cereal, and press 1/2 of mixture into a 9x13, or smaller, cake pan. Put in fridge.
- Combine and melt chocolate chips, powdered sugar, butter, and water. Spread over top of refrigerated cereal mixture.
- Add remaining 1/2 of cereal mixture, and gently press down on top of chocolate layer.
- Chill.

STARS AND BARS COCKTAIL
The South will rise again! This is a layered drink in a tall shot glass made to represent the Stars and Bars. It actually tastes like a red hot - like the ones my grandmother would slip me in church.

Steps:
- In a tall shot glass, pour the grenadine in first.
- Slowly pour the blue curacao over the back of a spoon so it is layered over the top of the grenadine.
- Slowly pour the Goldschlager over the blue curacao.
- Drink the whole thing all at once to get the full flavor of a red hot Southern drink!

- Assemble bento box with sandwiches, celery pieces, baby carrots, black olives, and mixed nuts.
