BAT WINGS
I take bat wings to Halloween parties, angel wings to Christmas parties, and so on. They are just fab and easy with only 3 ingredients. My boyfriend loves to tweak this recipe. However, I just love this simple basic recipe and I hope you do, too. It's better if you can marinate this overnight. I put it in gallon sealable bag and keep in refrigerator then pour in pan the next day.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Coat 2 large baking sheets with cooking spray.
- In a shallow dish or plastic bag, combine soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, five-spice powder, hot sauce, salt and black pepper, to taste. Mix well. Add chicken wings and chicken breasts and turn to coat (at this point, you may refrigerate up to 24 hours).
- Transfer chicken wings and breasts to baking sheets and brush with marinade. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
- To make the "hands", reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees F. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Unroll dough and separate into 12 breadsticks. Roll into 4-inch long "fingers" and place on baking sheet. Brush egg white all over breadsticks and place almond slice on 1 end, making a fingernail. Sprinkle Parmesan over rest of breadstick. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
- To make the dip, in a medium bowl, combine sour cream, parsley and mustard. Mix well. Place dip in a serving bowl and insert fingers. Serve the wings with the dip and "hands" and reserve the chicken breasts for the salad.
BATS AND COBWEBS
We make this for Halloween every year at my son's request! It's like spaghetti using bow-tie pasta! It is mixed together with mozzarella cheese cubes and baked in the oven. The bow-tie pasta is the bats and the stringy, gooey mozzarella cheese is the cobwebs!

BAT WINGS (BAKED CHICKEN WINGS)
These are kind of like baked hot wings. I love to make the sauce, although, sometimes I get really lazy and use Buffalo Wild Wings sauces  Also, for the hot sauce, I use tabasco or Frank's Hot Wing Sauce. Sometimes, depending on how much I want my mouth on fire, I add 1/8 -1/4 teaspoon of cayenne! Serving size depends on if this is for an appetizer or a main meal. Prep time does not include marinade time (I make in the morning let it marinate all day and then cook at night)

Steps:
- Mix black food color and Hot Wing sauce in a one gallon sized resealable bag. "Stretch the wings open but do not damage the joints. (They should resemble open wings ready for flight!) Add wings into the bag and zip closed. Toss well to coat the wings. Unzip, squeeze out most of the air and rezip. Set bag on a large platter-so the wings are mostly single layered in the sauce- and place in the fridge. Marinate the wings several hours or overnight, (re-toss every couple hours if you can so the black color of the marinade gets on all surfaces of the wings). Preheat oven to 425. Remove wings from bag with tongs and place on a foil lined-(Pam) sprayed baking sheet with shallow sides (I used my jelly roll pan) Fan/stretch the wings open. (Discard sauce). Bake at 425 for 25-30 min or until done. Serve on a light colored platter for best visual effect. These wings look awesome dark black and the color does not stain your fingers after baking.
