- In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the corn, tortillas, taco sauce and 1 cup cheese; heat through. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Serve with pepper sauce if desired.

Just happened to run across a recipe in a magazine. Read it and decided to renovate it. So this is my finished keeper. This is a versatile recipe. You can make this as hot or mild as you like. You can even bake it in the oven with the cheese. This recipe does not include oven time.

Steps:
- Cook beef in a large skillet with onion till done.
- Drain well.
- Return meat to skillet and add everything except the cheese and fritos and heat till hot.
- When meat mixture is hot again add the fritos.
- When serving top each portion with cheese and your favorite taco toppings.
- Variation #1 Creamy Mexican Style.
- Stir in 1/2 cup sour cream with the soup, omit the fritos and add torn flour tortillas.
- Variation #2 Ranchero Style.
- Omit the fritos and add torn corn tortillas or broken taco shells.
- If you bake this; heat oven to 350.
- Bake for 20 minutes or till hot, shut oven off.
- Top with cheese and and place back in oven long enough for cheese to melt.

- 1. Spray large skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat. Place tortilla pieces in skillet. Cook 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from skillet.
- 2. Cook ground beef in skillet until no longer pink; drain. Stir in drained tomatoes, corn and beans. Bring to a boil. Simmer 2 minutes or until hot. Add tortilla pieces and stir to coat.
- 3. Sprinkle with cheese and green onions. Cover. Let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with sour cream, if desired.

- In 12-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
- Stir in hot water, sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box) and beans. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Stir in uncooked rice (from Hamburger Helper box).
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender (sauce will thicken as it stands). Meanwhile, in small bowl, stir milk and topping mix (from Hamburger Helper box) 30 seconds; set aside.

- Brown beef in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally; drain.
- Stir in Sauce Mix, hot water and beans. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Stir in uncooked Pasta. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef until crumbled and cooked through. Add the onions and packet of taco seasoning and water. Simmer until liquid thickens. Add in corn, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes and simmer for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
