AIR FRYER BRATWURST WITH BEER CHEESE SAUCE
Super easy air fried brats are amazing when topped with this thick beer cheese sauce!

Steps:
- Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees.
- Arrange brats in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15 minutes, turning halfway through, or until brats reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
- Add the butter to a small saucepan over medium heat and let melt.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Whisk in the beer and milk until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar and paprika.
- Place the brats in the buns and drizzle with the cheese sauce. Sprinkle with chives.

- Spray the bottom of the air fryer with olive oil spray. Lay the brats evenly in the basket with space in between.
- Cook at 360 degrees for 12-15 minutes flipping halfway through.
- Carefully remove the brats from the basket and let them rest for 5 minutes.

- Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 360 F. Place the bratwurst in the air fryer basket, making sure to spread them out. Cook the sausage until the internal temperature reaches at least 160 F, in a Cosori air fryer, which will take 11-15 minutes to cook. Feel free to cook them longer to get them browned to your liking, brats stay juicy up until an internal temperature of 190 F. Since brats are a quick-cooking recipe, there's no need to flip them over but you can if you prefer. Adding peppers and onions (optional)Slice 1 bell pepper and half of an onion. Mix them in a medium-size bowl with 1 Tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp ground black pepper. Add the bratwurst, peppers, and onions to the air fryer spreading the veggies around the sausages. Continue with the remaining recipe steps above.

- Preheat air fryer to 400°. Place bratwurst in a single layer in a greased air fryer. Cook until no longer pink, 8-10 minutes., Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir until onions start to brown and soften. Add flour, dill weed and pepper; stir until smooth. Stir in beer. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring constantly until thickened, 3-5 minutes. To serve, place 1 brat on each slice of bread; top evenly with onion mixture.
