Time 5m

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 32 oz. container All-Natural Plain or Vanilla-Flavored Yogurt (If your dog is lactose-intolerant you can substitute with soy-yogurt instead.)
1 cup All-Natural Peanut Butter
2 ripe bananas (If you have babies you can also substitute a large container of banana baby food for this.)
1 package small Dixie cups or (1) ice cream molds tray

Steps:

  • Blend all ingredients with a blender, food processor or mixer. Once all ingredients are smooth then pour into equal portions into the Dixie cups or in the ice cream molds.
  • Place Dixie cups on a cookie sheet to freeze in the freezer. Or if using ice cream molds just pop the molds tray into the freezer.
  • Once frozen you can pop the ice cream treats out of their Dixie cups or ice cream molds into a zip-top freezer bag.

  • Note: We are not using yogurt in this recipe because most dogs get sick to their stomach if they have lactose which is in yogurt.

  • Place the banana in a blender or food processor. Add 32 ounces plain yogurt. Scoop 2 tsp. of peanut butter and 2 tsp. of honey into the mix. or the berry recipes. Alternatively, try goat's milk yogurt for a treat containing much less lactose
  • Use kids size bathroom paper cups, small plastic containers, ice cube trays or muffin tins to use as molds for the mixture. Pour small amounts into the cups, muffin tins or plastic containers. Aim for a hockey puck shape and thickness to resemble the original Frosty Paws size. I used mini muffin tins for a smaller version.
