Bourbon Peach Punch Recipes
BOURBON PEACH SMASH
This refreshing cocktail is the taste of summer. Fresh ripe peaches combined with bourbon, ginger and mint will cool you down on a hot summer afternoon.

Steps:
- Bring the sugar, 1/2 cup water and ginger to a simmer in a small saucepan. Tear and add in 4 of the mint leaves. Once the sugar is dissolved, about 2 minutes, turn of the heat. Strain and set aside to cool.
- Slice the peach into slices, reserving 2 for garnish. Add the peaches, the remaining mint, and the lime quarters to a cocktail shaker. Mash with a muddler until broken up and juicy. Add the bourbon and muddle again. Add 2 ounces of the simple syrup, fill the shaker with ice and shake.
- Strain into 2 cups filled with ice. Top off with ginger beer, garnish each with a peach slice, a lime slice and a sprig of mint.

- To start, prepare your fresh peach puree in a blender, by using 2 peaches (blended peaches - see quick recipe details in link). Set aside in the refrigerator.
- In a pitcher, combine 4 cups of sweet tea with 1/2 cup of whiskey bourbon and 4 tablespoons of fresh peach puree. Stir well with a wooden spoon. Add sliced fresh peaches.
- Fill a mason jar half full with ice and pour punch over the top, making sure to add some peach slices. Garnish with fresh mint and serve.

- Roll four lemons on the counter top with your palm to help release the juices from the lemons. Cut each lemon in half and squeeze the lemon juice through a strainer into a bowl.
- Cut the peaches into thin slices and remove any mushy flesh or threads from around the pit. (Sprinkle lemon juice on the peach slices to prevent them from turning brown if you're doing this step in advance).
