CARD PARTY HOT SANDWICHES

This is an old recipe from my mom. I needed something new to serve at Bunko and she dug this one out from when she was in Mrs. Jaycees back in the 1960's and 1970's.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 can(s) tuna, drained
3 - hard boiled eggs, chopped
1/4 cup(s) cheese, cubed (i think mom used velvetta, but i'm not sure and she's not around anymore to ask.)
1/2 cup(s) mayonnaise
2 tablespoon(s) onions, chopped (i think i'll use green onions next time i make these)
2 tablespoon(s) green olives, chopped
1 tablespoon(s) sweet pickles, chopped (or use sweet pickle relish)
12 - hamburger buns

Steps:

  • Mix everything except the buns.
  • Put a couple good sized spoonfuls in each bun (go skimpy until each bun has some, then go back and add more until all the mix is used up.
  • Wrap each sandwich in tin foil and back at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Be careful opening them up, there will be some steam!
  • Enjoy!
